    I actually think it's pretty clever how the two targetmasters glom together on the hook to give the appearance of a telescoping water cannon.

    Looks nice but in this case the book intrigues me more. However since i didn't get the first volume i'll have to live without this.

    Still, i always enjoyed these collection books eventhough it is all in Japanese and i can't understand a word of it.

    So I take it there is a way to remove the original crane then from the Artfire figure? I have no idea, since I have never owned the Inferno or Grapple molds.

    Isn't this the 1st volume since it's going to be the first one of this year being released? Unless you're talking about the past years volumes.

    I don't even know who Artfire is but I kinda want this figure for my Classics collection. We already have color coded Deluxe/Voyager combos with Sideswipe/Inferno (red), Sunstreaker/Grapple (yellow), and now Red Alert/Artfire (white/red/blue). FFFFFF.

    Technically, Transformers Generations was in 2001, and was updated in 2004 in the glorious Deluxe Edition.

    Then there's 3 volumes of Generations 2009, 1 volume in 2010, and 2 volumes in 2011. Since this one says 2012 v1, we'll probably get at least 2 this year...


    I have them all except the 2001, but the deluxe makes it redundant...

    But when I get Artfire, I'll just leave him status quo. no mods/ changing his hook-ladder.

    I plan to leave my Artifre alone... All of my copies of that mold will have slight differences. Inferno has the ladder kit. Grapple has the hook, new head, arms, feet. Artfire will be the Inferno mold but with the hook and Targetmasters, Hot Spot will presumably be Inferno with a new head. Pyro is...left alone (unless Venksta makes a kit for him).

    that's actually pretty cool... i still need a ladder for my Inferno... and maybe Hot Spot will get a new ladder as well, that'd be nice, but i guess we'll find out eventually...
