Suddenly, BBTS's price of $44.99 doesn't seem so bad.

 

Because they get left with the less-wanted stock, whereas huge chain stores can afford to have stuff sitting around and eventually clearance it; the popular items pay for the storage of the others that have to be ordered to get the popular items, and it's a form of self-insurance.

It annoys me too, but in many cases retailers can't just order the figures they want and their customers want.

 

I have never bought from them, and I have no intentions of doing so now. that's pure price gouging (sp?) I really hope nobody buys NP from them.

after all the nonsense, I'm glad I got one on ebay weeks ago for under $50 shipped from China.

 

Optimus Scourge. May I ask how you painted MP Prime to Scourge's colors? I am thinking of getting the rerelease MP Prime to do just that. Thanks.

 

Actually, the one and only TFMaster did him for me to my specs. It was completly disassembled, all plastic parts were dyed, and the die cast was painted. his cab windows were dyed red and his axe is red, too. he even has a decepticon matrix
