Yes, I'm totally with Vangelus on PRID Wheeljack and am curious as to what his take will be on Soundwave when he gets him in his hands. I myself am not as impressed by Soundwave as others seem to be. I'm willing to accept I might be in the minority though. But Wheeljack rules indeed!

Alright! Some love for RID. I loved that show. It's what got me into Transformers.

I will definitely support anything RID for recognition nominations.

A couple quick thoughts on PRiD Wheeljack:

To me, his overall feel is different from the other three deluxes in wave 1. He is missing the automorph that the other three have, besides the screen model accuracy. To me, I almost wonder if he was designed under First Edition, but that line got canned, so they moved him to the PRiD line. Something else to ask at the Hasbro panel at BotCon (if I was going, that is).

Technically I believe Wheeljack has an automorph head reveal, it's just very simple (the hinged push-reveal through his chest piece)

Yeah, it's so simple, I wouldn't classify it as "automorph", but that's debating semantics. :)

At any rate, I still think his design fits more with what we saw in First Edition. Actually, I hope this means that the FE design team is also working on PRiD, and Wheeljack is good omen of things to come.

I have to agree that Wheeljack great. Picked him up yesterday and I've been enjoying transforming him back and forth. It feels nice to be on the hunt again.

It's a very welcomed feeling after such an absence isn't it?
For me TF: Prime is having to wait, at least until a local Retailer gets it's act together  , but in the mean-time I'm chasing a couple of leads on Animated Swindle. :thumb

Well, as it stands I could go out and grab him tomorrow with no problems... Besides the $30.00AU price tag.
Whereas, if I wait for the Big W Retail chain to get it's act together by the end of this month I can pick him up for $23.99AU - It's a small saving and well worth it to wait IMO. :)

That being said, I do very much want to get Jacky so will be waiting with great anticipation. :D

If you mean he's light - then yes he is flimsy feeling - probably due to him having such slim arms and hollow legs and chest.

It's all relative really though like when people joke about DOTM Deluxes being small but fail to notice that many Beast Wars Deluxes were a similar size *like Iguanus or TM2 Cheetor or TM2 Prowl*

But DOTM Deluxe Optimus is certainly lacking the heft of your average Energon Deluxe that's for certain. But if you put him next to Animated Arcee or Classics Mirage he doesn't seem slight so slight after all.
