More a point that we're taking things that Hasbro says with a grain of salt. I agree with you pedantically, but I agree with his point and don't think semantics should bog it down, you know?

... he should have just said "supposed."

I don't think this figure is going to be released until august or September if I remember correctly.

Does anyone else think Brawl and Swindle look fine in these colors? I kinda prefer a lighter Brawl and Swindle...

Blast-Off is 'eh', Vortex makes me laugh, and Onslaught looks okay.

I think most people, including me, were happy with the original colour scheme that was previewed. This new scheme might be more popular if the limbs were not so bright when the combiner head detail is lost in black...

Here's what I think is up with the weird colors:

Game colors= single-carded Generations release with each case containing 2x Onslaught, 2x Brawl, 2x Vortex (as they were playable characters in WFC or FoC), 1x Blastoff, 1x Swindle

Energon colors= multi-pack that costs slightly less than 5 Generations, in brighter colors to help appeal to a younger audience. It would also distinguish thew characters from the single packs in case a kid has already bought some of the single carded Combaticons, then he won't have multiples of the exact same toy.

    Man, I hope so.

I just want the G1 colors so that they look like the character in the video game. The eye-sore colors just don't make any sense to people who are buying it to match the video game.

g1 colors were different for vortex. he was gray in G1 but since he'd blend right in, they made him red and yellow for the game. but now they've fucked up the toy completely. i intend to get two of him (unless those aren't the final colors) so i can repaint one for game accuracy and the other for g1 accuracy. EDIT: and of course repaint blastoff for game accuracy as well

You're right. I have misgivings about has-blow sub-par products. But if the FOC bruticus come in G1 colors, I would buy it as a comparison to my FP bruticus and a play toy that is a tribute to the upcoming video game.

I guess I just lost it for few seconds when I saw the weird colors and made a empty boycott promise against has-blow. Damn, has-blow. They really suck a$$
