Vortex is pretty damn sexy. So Cobra-ish.

It looks like these new kreo sets don't have cheap stickers on them.

not digging these as much as the first wave (bought 2 of each to display in both modes). but I'll probably still end up getting a devy kit. everything else besides the vehicons/autotroopers might be a pass this round.

I liken Kre-O to the Star Wars Crossovers line: Full of disappointment.

My 6 year old who ONLY plays with TFs and Legos won't even touch this.

You'd never know from looking at him, but it's Barricade.

This is from the press release:

    KRE-O TRANSFORMERS CYCLE CHASE Set
    (Ages 6 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $11.99/Available: Fall 2012)
Put the pedal to the metal, builders! DECEPTICON BARRICADE has stolen ENERGON and a team of AUTOBOTS must race to get it back! The two-in-one CYCLE CHASE set includes over 73 KRE-O bricks and accessories, allowing builders to create a projectile launcher and a motorcycle and robot drone for “high speed” AUTOBOT and DECEPTICON KREON races. Includes 77 pieces, three KREON AUTOBOT figures, and one KREON BARRICADE figure.

I like some of these new sets, but not all. I am glad the Devy turned out better looking than the original scan hinted at. And I understand why only one constructicon, although I wish they'd done six individuals instead of one Devastator Kreon. Wheeljack looks kinda goofy, but I 'fix' my Kreo bot modes anyhow. Excited to finally be able to get the Ironhide Kreon, wish they'd put hound in somewhere though. Not thrilled about the Prime-esque stuff, for my own reasons, but the sets do look cool. Keep 'em coming Hasbro, although I wish you'd gone the GI Joe route instead of the sure-to-be-a-dud battleship movie.

agreed, major step back almost across the board IMHO. Only one of these that is even decent is Vortex (Kreon Vortex is AMAZING)

the Prime style Kreon's aren't working for me nearly as well as the G1s seem too...

The Vortex set looks amazing, except for the arbitrary color scheme that looks just awful.

Seriously, he's got so many random bricks in so many random colors. Beige, purple, navy blue, bright blue, red... WHY?

... probably going to get that Vehicon set, though. I wish there was a set that had a Soundwave Kreon plus the tape deck that the Stealth BB set has, but alas...

That Devastator looks way better than the first we've seen.

I might get the knock out wheeljack set. I have quite a few sets. Like them, but they are a pain in the butt to keep together unlike Lego sets are.

May get the Knock-out & Wheeljack set b/c I like Knock-out's character & possibly the Optimus & Megatron set. The devastator set looks good IMO, but Vortex?! W a random character to choose, I dont like it :puke2:

I'm not overly impressed with this wave of Kre-O's, but will probably get them when they go on sale.
