The 2 bots shown are pretty obviously deluxe looking.

Also given that all the other game figs have been deluxe, I would bet on deluxes.

However, if they are scouts, they are kick ass looking (especially in that scale!)

And I will still be buying at least 4 sets.

My hope is that Onslaught and Grimlock are voyagers.
If not, Brute will fit better next to my FP Bruticii.  

I am wanting a pre and post earth display. Similar scale would be a bonus.

 

I wonder if it's time to move aside my classics Onslaught to make room. He certainly is a sizable fellow...

I'm sorry, but I grew up with the landfill mold and have missed it with the energon gestaults, it seems like such a basic point of articulation, so it's anoying as slag when It's missing.

 

Scout or deluxe, these guys will still look great.  

 

Especially if by Deluxe you mean the 'new' Deluxe scale that Hasbro is introducing with RID Prime figure (i.e., smaller by about a quarter to half inch than regular Deluxe). I can see these as being a nice midway point size between Scout and what has historically been Deluxe. In other words, a nice size.

I plopped on the Stronghold head and had him join the Autobots. It works surprisingly well!

 

Especially painting that horrid green silver.

Now, will the hands and feet be seperate pieces? Or will they magically sprout from the limbs? Don't eff it up, Hasbro.

 

Concept art shows Swindle and Brawl deforming into something resembling boots so should be no separate feet. No clue on the hands but if they undersize them a tiny bit it'd be fairly easy to squeeze them in.

 

I was way too lazy. Thought about it, but I just slapped on the stickers and called it a day.

 

honestly, if i didn't have the silver Testors paint already, I'd probably never have done it either, but it turned out really nice so I'm glad I took the effort, but I definitely get not wanting to spend time on it. At least the stickers do a great job of breaking it up.

 

All 5 figures will be Deluxe size but the design sure blow me off

The thing that matters the MOST,at least to me. Is that these figures DO NOT come out like that steaming pile of 20$ crap from the PCC collection set. Those figures NEVER stayed connected and I don't care how hard you mashed them in. I really like the way it looks and connects. I just hope it comes with hands and feet that you have to apply the figure like the good ol' days.

 

Swindle and Brawl ARE the feet. You can see in the bot picture of Vortex that the hands are contained with in the bot. This is not a partsforming combiner at all.

 

I didn't see that since these threads buried the pic way back in BFG. Every time I look for a pic, I have to either get it from the front page or hope I can find it in the billions of threads that something gets burried on top of.
