That's really good news. I was becoming concerned that scalpers or friends of people who couldn't attend would buy all the Nemesis Primes before I even got through the door..

comic-con's site says that this isnt a limited run, and will be a hasbro toyshop exclusive. THANK YOU, HASBRO.

If this thing would have been a convention exclusive, I'd be done with the alternator line. I seriously want to own them all, and if I cant do that... I wouldnt bother buying any of them anymore.

Yeah, that's how I'm interpretting the "Sold exclusively through HasbroToyShop.com launched at Comic-Con July 2006. " I'd still like some confirmation from Hasbro.

We need a helpdesk monkey smiley.

Overall, though, this is good news- even if HTS does charge a little extra for this, I actually like the mold, I like the truck better in black, and I'm an Alt. completist. Not having to fight the urge to pat through the nose on eBay is a good thing.

AHQ have just received their stock (only enough to fill preorders)

....so we may start seeing more auctions where it's actually in hand.

So in other words, equally unavailable to anyone outside the US.

Well, with the Star Wars figures it does say that some will be "available internationally" without the comic-con logo on the packaging. One would assume the same would apply...

Nice and meaninglessly vague of course. SORT IT OUT HASBRO. All you need to do is say what this actually means. Giving information to customers that allows them to purchase your goods is a GOOD THING.

Nice to know that Hasbro's going to make this available through the HTS. Even if it's $25-$35 through them that beats the psychotic ebay prices, AHQs nasty preorder price and BillsToys slightly rediculous price. Of course, if this does come to fruition and it's available at cost or slightly above... I wonder what the guys who payed out the nose for it are going to think?

HTS exclusive sounds good to me.

Still too bad for those not in the US, but I am sure some of us can do our best to help out.

i'm quite okay this guy being an exclusive, seeing that he's not, unlike the others, based on g1 character.

It wasn't nasty when the first listed it three months ago.

    Decepticharge.

I wish that they'd continue this trend... Bring on some more NEW characters or ones from the Unicron Trilogy, or Beast Wars. A Rhinox repaint of Grimlock (with new head), a Cybertron Hot Shot repaint of Windcharger, or a repaint of Skids as Cannonball (ARRRRRR!). I'd love to see some more diversity. WITH NEW HEADS! :D

True... I suppose they jumped on the "itz rarzors" bandwagon with the rest of us whom overreacted... myself included...

Yes, diversity with new heads would be awesome. Even though the line is G1 based (and I'd really like to see them finish off the 84'-85' bots along with a nice looking Hot Rod) it'd be nice to see a little more diversity in the line. Like you said... some reimagining of the Maximals or some of the characters from the Unicron Trilogy would be nice, but somehow I think people who'd like to see that are in the minority.

There's quite a few from HK sellers on eBay right now. Most are under $30.00 before shipping....

Probably the best deal a lot of us non-U.S. residents can hope for....
