Man, this is was a long podcast, but it was worth it. I'm pretty stumped on those questions, but I'm cool with it. But I thought Omegus opinion about SH MonsterArts Godzilla and Mechagodzilla were good, still I'm was excited to hear about that. Now I kinda dig the idea Vangelus have on Straxus as Giga and Terradive as Mega that would be cool to see.

    Dude! - that's an awesome concept! :D
As an Aussie, I have fond memories of Wombat mascots.

@Vangelus: Mate, you have just taken a step up on my Sick-C*** 'o' Meter: Hearing that you and your Mum are both Rammstein fans and what you received for Xmas, being an extraordinarily awesome (and expensive!:cry ) one, pleases me greatly as a fellow Rammstein fan! - Now I want to hear you do a cover of Mein Land on your Atomic Ukulele! :rock
(Apologies for the possibly offensive Aussie slang  )

Also, seasons greetings to everyone who is apart of my favourite Audio Gestalt: WTF@TFW. :thumb

just go to the part where Vangelus mentioned doing 2 different deluxes, Straxus and Terradive's molds (as Giga and Mega respectively) and make both Overlord-ish but allowing for gender. that would have been much better than we got with ROTF Bludgeon

It'll be interesting to see exactly what kind of people go for the golden ticket...this year will be a kind of fandom social experiment. Will it be scalpers? Hardcore neckbeards? Average fans who happen to have extra cash? Or just a completely random assortment of people? I'll probably be scoping out the badges this year just out of curiosity. :p

    :lol

I have to wonder if some of the guests are a little wary of the meet-and-greet event too. If they're at all experienced with nerd cons, they know they're likely to encounter a creeper or two, even though the vast majority of fans are normal. Hopefully there will be staff and handlers there to keep the fans in check if they do anything to make the guests uncomfortable. If a lot of the golden ticket holders are only interested in scalping toys like many people suspect, the turnout for the event could be less than the full number anyway.

As far as the MonsterArts Godzilla goes, I would say that the only point on him I really don't like is the hips, which somehow manage to be less posable than the vinyl figures. But I'm still holding out hope that the Showa and Millennium suits make it in there, which are bound to have better range of movement due to their slimmer proportions.

Also, I'm with Vangelus on the whole Mega/Giga idea.

Vangelus had made me want a Ukelele of my own. He's expanded his influence beyond plastic crack.

Ok, I was just a little disappointed on one very obvious missed opportunity. When Vangelus made the comment "What beats a ukulele?", I was waiting for either Aaron or TJ to chime in with, "I would. I'd beat the crap out of that ukulele!". I admit I had the image of Bluto from Animal House making surprise appearance in Vangelus' room! :lol

Question for TJ... can that Monster Arts Godzilla do this? ;)
    Godzilla kicking ass - YouTube

I love Godzilla... but man... I have a hard time justifying these figures for $70 a pop. If they were $40 each, I would be all over it, but yeah... I dunno if they're worth it.

I can only imagine how absurd King Ghidorah will be, as he's pretty huge, even for a giant monster. And he's the coolest one, too!

Also, as much as I love the Heisei Godzilla series... I dunno, I just was never in love with the Mechagodzilla II design. There's just something about him. I like the original Showa Mechagodzilla I and the Millennium Mechagodzilla III/Kiryu designs better. Why, I dunno. Maybe because they're more angular and dangerous looking?

I was excited about that Monster Arts Godzilla, but when I saw how small it was and how much it cost, it became an easy pass. I'm not a big stickler for scale, but Godzilla needs to be the biggest toy on the shelf. Luckily, TRU still had one of those 12-inch Godzilla's, so I'm all set. Glad to hear how the Monster Arts version is.

I have the 12-inch Godzilla and Kiryu, myself. I was going to get a Gigan as well, but somebody grabbed him already. They're only $20. They BADLY need to make a King Ghidorah and Mothra in that scale, though. And maybe a Biollante, but then again, he would be so huge, I'd have no place him him!
