Heat the rivet lightly with a soldering iron to slightly melt the plastic around it, and then push the rivet in tighter.

Not exactly idiot proof, but there's not many other options.

I have no issues with (Hasbro) Tracks' paint job, and I don't even mind the stock flames that are on the hood. I must be in the minority on that one.

My issues are his limited knee movement range, and his height. The first one bugs me, the second isn't that big of a deal because he's about the same height as Hound, and Hot Rod.

I never had the original G1 fig, but I'm fairly satisfied with this one. Very much looking forward to getting Wheeljack from BBTS. Just don't get me started on the flight mode...

After looking at RtS Tracks and G1 Tracks in robot mode, the overall proportions on both are almost the same (the height/width ratio is almost the same). What makes RtS Tracks seem stockier is the back pack. It's wider than the torso and throws of the overall impression for that figure.

Okay, I really like this toy, but the missiles are starting to irritate me in vehicle mode. They don't plug in flush with the bottom of the car, so there is a gap between the bottom of the doors and the missiles. This is also causing clearance issues with the car rolling.

Does anyone have an idea on how I could go about fixing this?

When mine do that, I switch them to the opposite sides and then fiddle with them a little and then Vwa-La, they're good to go!

And by fiddle I mostly mean rotating the fins of said missiles up into the crevices meant for them... just a little massaging is all.

    Hope that helps :)

Finally got around to opening him up and am pleasantly surprised. The one criticism I have (like many) is his feet. Too long and flat.

I think he's perfect. Sorry. Tracks was one of my favorites as a kid and for some reason, I never got one, this is the perfect version of the character, better than the Alternators version. his feet aren't that bad.

Tracks is a very solid figure, if a bit cumbersome.

I like this guy alot. I don't dig the super wide chest and puny arms on him as much as Wheeljack. The car mode is nice and I love the headsculpt.

I hoped I might grow on the figure. I could live with the car mode in United. But I still hate how small his wings are and how clunky his robot mode looks. And I hoped so long that Hasbro would make Tracks :(

it's a pretty decent figure, there's not much to complain about it that hasn't already been said.

I'm happy with it thought. :thumbs2:

I got my RTS Turbo Tracks in the mail recently & I really like the figure

one leg did try to be stubborn & not want to extend like the other one but I managed to work it out, so I could get him in bot mode.

I also found it a little tricky to get his arms to snap into the car back-end but once they did it felt good (thanks for mentioning that bit)

& I have a question: what is that little white piece on his right leg for?

It's what lets his legs peg together for vehicle mode.

Tracks is cool, besides I like the tribal flames and maybe down the road I'm going to paint underneath those wings so that it flows better.

Although I do like this fig, I wish he had better feet. Those darn feet of his are just ugly looking. Very un-Tracks like. I would love to see a third party tackle an upgrade for him (doubt it would ever happen though).
