Seeing it nice and up close (and believe me, pics don't do it justice) I'm actually fine with a more subdued color scheme. Being all purple would work for Shockwave, but like with the Optimus I prefer it in colors that match the alt mode better.

I actually kind of like the prototype gray colors on him. If the price is right, I might have to buy a purple one and another if they do a repaint.

Also, anyone else who stopped by today talk about the comic ink store exclusive? Cause I'm excited for it.

 

I still hope that they do a yellow eye at some point. Red has great lightpiping, I won't lie, but I like Shockwave with a yellow eye due to personal G1 preference.

 

If the price is good, i may have to figure out how to get this guy and a Prime toy or two depending on what out when he's out

The photos posted are the exact same photos I took, there really wasnt much room to take pictures from, you basically have the front view and slight angle views. Id be willing to bet that everyone who went and saw it all have the same angle photos. It really is super impressive up close and personal though. I can't wait to get my hands on one, although I fear how empty my wallet will be.
