Semantics aside, it' still a G1-looking Megatron.

And considering that G1 Megatron's transformation is impossible to replicate in a toy anyway (the size-changing part of it, I mean), I wouldn't balk at losing the transformation to get a great looking robot mode.

My ideal gun Megatron would keep the stock and silencer from the show model's gun mode, but utilize them in robot mode to add the mass to the legs and arms that the Masterpeice Megatron was missing.

But since that's probably never gonna happen, I'll just say how great I think this one looks.

I live in the UK, where parts for custom fodder are neither cheap or as easy to come by as places such as the US of A.

I also have fibromyalgia ( do some research if you're not familar with the illness ) which often leaves me in so much pain that anything fiddly such as disassembling parts or painting are not really something I can do even if I wanted to :(

I could pay someone else to do it but a 3rd party company will probably be cheaper and as Megatron isn't a character that I'm overly concerned about ( Most of my collection are Autobots ) I'm happy to wait until something more suitable comes along.

To be fair, Smog is also not from the States.

I'm aware of fibromyalgia, as I have it in my family.

True, Transformers are pretty cheap in the USA... living here in Canada, we pay about a third more, and never see clearance sales like they do down south. Still, I've heard it's worse in the UK.

Fair enough if you don't want to getting into modifying or bashing your own toys... it just seems like a non-transforming TF action figure sort of defeats the purpose in most cases.
