Add some ankle articulation and I'm game. If not...I'll pass.

I'm not down with the block feet. I don't mind it from an aesthetic point of view...but from a functional standpoint it's a little too far behind the times for me.

    Wow. Exactly my case, word-for-word.

I WISH this was being made (but hopefully larger)....

Looks like we're still gonna have to wait (years) for a decent Ultra Magnus figure. 50th Anniversary? Nah, that'll be yet ANOTHER Prime.

Not that I was bothered anyway, but really? Kudos to the model maker but this thread needs to be closed now.

Darn it, that just shatter my wishlist. I really like this a lot even though it's not an armor version. Maybe he could sell his design to 3rd party and let them mass produce it.

To me, City Commander is not a place holder or a representation of the G1 UMagnus. I treat him like another incarnation of UMagnus that also fall into the category of RID Magnus, Animated Magnus, etc. As a toy itself, City Commander is an awesome upgrade kit which give great compliment to the Classic Magnus. I love City Commander as a figure but I don't view him as the "G1" UMagnus. Hopefully, TTomy MP UMagnus will change that.

City Commander is perfectly fine with me. Seeing as Classics Prime and Protector look nothing like G1, there'd be no point in just having one figure that does. it would look out of place.

Now if I had Faith Leader, then that'd be a different story.....

The only obvious flaw is the lack of ankle swivels.
