I just think Hasbro and Gang are just getting tired of Everything Transformers,and I am sure given 2 or 3 more years they will stop making TF's altogether,as of right now we haven't seen hardly anything on shelves in the past 3 months except 30000 Optimus Primes and 40000 Bumblebees for DOTM.

Honestly speaking TF's have lost all meaning for me and I am pretty much thru with collecting anything new.So in closing I say The Era of Transformers is almost at its end I think.

 

Um, it's been around for 25-ish years. It just had a movie that printed money encrusted with diamonds.

It's not going anywhere, though your interest in it certainly might.

 

I have never considered Bumblebee to be a must have. Even though I do like BB.

I always thought all the characters, each and everyone one of them, are a must have.

 

Starscream and Soundwave are not considered must-have characters? Seriously? I mean, you know, like ... really?

 

They said that they started with "three OF the must-haves", not "the must haves which are those three", all that means is that the first 3 characters they wrote up for the show were those three, not that Starscream or any of the other main characters of the franchise aren't considered must haves.

 

Meh. I'll just write my book, go to some pubs and watch some movies until it starts. Won't lose sleep over it.

Even though I know it won't happen, I'd love it if Bumblebee was not used much once the movies are done. I want to see Hot Shot again.

 

I can understand TF's losing all meaning for you... but Hasbro getting tired of transformers? They are in talks for another movie... considering a TF Prime movie, are making games, books, television series based on it. They haven't had much come out in the last three months, but have tonnes coming out soon with the Prime line and Movie Trilogy line. I really don't think this changing of air date has anything to do with them losing interest in the series.

And for people like me who really take enjoyment out of the engineering of the figures more than the meaning behind them anyway, the franchise only gets better.

As for my thoughts on the post-poning of the show, i'm actually EXTREMELY disappointed. By no means is this the only thing going on in my life, I've got lots of stuff happening. Regardless, I was really looking forward to the next season. The character development in the characters possible by the season finale is just so much awesome i really wanted it to happen soon, and the fact it was only a few weeks away just kept building up the excitement in my heart. Once the disappointment passes, time is going to fly by as I do research and try to get myself into grad school, but in this moment... blah.

 

Oh c'mon don't be like that! There's plenty of things building up for Starscream in season 2 the proof is there! Besides he still does play a major role in the mythos no matter if he's the most must have or otherwise!

 

Well fuck me sideways..now what am I going to have to look forward to? I guess we all should have known, there was only one trailer that aired a month or two ago.

Oh well..

 

I was late to catch up on TF Prime. I delayed watching them because I had to take a break from hearing BB's new beeps on some episodes. I'm all caught up, I think! I'm now anxious to see the new season! The cliffhanger they left was very intense!

 

Besides it's not like Hasbro's ditching all of the show's characters all that so that it can focus on Bumblebee alone! I hope the TFP toyline does the smart move and focus on the other characters and not just Bumblebee because all of the show's characters are fantastic and deserve the attention they can get! The Movie line can keep on doing more Bumblebee things for all I care just not in TFP!

 

Your lucky you just started watching them because you don't have to wait as long as some of us who were here from the beginning do. It's only 12 weeks until it premeres so it's not like we have to wait 9 months like people had to with TFA's season 3.

Meh, I witstood the breaks, I can witstand this.

 

the break is giving me a chance to get reacquainted with other shows & stuff so it's not a big deal for me.

 

Yeah I'm better about it myself! Besides I have other things to look foward to in the next 12 weeks until the premere like seeing Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows and Tintin in theaters next month!
