Not just a new head but some retooling and yeah I'd get it, I don't think quickswitch will gget a complete new mode so thing one with a little re workign will do.

I guess they'd need to internalise the hips so they can move, and redesign the feet so they can spread and sit flat when posed then totally redo the arms give him proper hands and redo the way the paws work - try to make the forelegs larger. change the way the head attaches and the way the winglets attach to the head - perhaps move them to a collar so they sit in a more natural place in robot and hydrofoil mode. but they'd need to still be strong enough to support all his weight in handgun mode

Put in a mid waist joint.. quite a lot really - try to make more of the beast head. Perhaps put a compaction joint in the winglets on the guns. and make them able to combine like pretender weapons. perhaps add some kibble bits to cover the gaps up in boat mode.

I think if the body was made longer and less dumpy it would free up enough space to fix most of his issue as well as make the gun mode look more natural. if he was more like the proportions of Energon Mirage (Superlink : Shockfleet).

I can see Quickswitch as an interesting challenge though - perhaps not something you'd want to do early on in a new company's run though.

 

Hexatron Civil War Theme Chosen!

Looks like the the votes cast leaned toward the Civil War color scheme. They uploaded a larger pic too! Man that thing is nice.

Why's it called Civil war colour isn't that 90% identical to G1 Sixshot (aside from the shoulders) ?

 

My assumption is that "civil war" in this case refers to the "Cybertronian Civil War" aka G1. Not that I've ever heard it canonically referred to as that, but it certainly fits the definition.

 

I hope they'll remold the heads at least for the Grandus and Shadow versions....

 

I'm seriously hoping Ghost refers to Shadowmaru. That's the one I want.
