    Nah, I'd like the Babylon 5 route. The Shadows were the big bad, the Drakh were their followers and servants. The Shadows got taken down early series 4, but the Drakh stuck around after this and had Crusade continued would have been the big villains of that series too.

    No reason why
    Unicron can't be defeated end of series 2 and then have the Fallen become the new super-big bad.
