    Actually, it's 4.5 months from the 28th. of June. That's on the high side of release times. Movie companies are pushing them out in 3-4 months.

    If you buy a 3D Blu Ray, you must have a Full HD TV that is capable of showing 3D movies, if so, you should be able to convert 3D to 2D. The TV does this in its own menu. You should not have to do this on your 3D Blu-Ray player.

    They're not releasing a regular DVD version? All I have is a DVD player. :(

    This. Just like when blu-ray/dvd combos came out, I bought those. Even though I didn't have a blu-ray player, since it's just a matter of time fpr me to get one.
