I wonder if they are gonna do the same thing they did with ROTF. They had two versions of the DVD and Blu-Ray when it came out. Wallmart only had the version that had the IMAX footage incorporated into the actual film, and that was the one to get since those scenes filled up the entire screen. I wonder if they shot scenes in IMAX for DOTM.

I'll be picking up the Blu-Ray Trilogy set, as I only have TF1 on DVD and I never bought ROTF.

I hope that the Trilogy DOTM BR will have both the 3D and 2D versions.

Trilogy pack it is, then! The reason I never bought TFTM on blu.

Actually I was waiting to see if TF3 wasn't absolute shit, then I would've only bought the '07 movie. I hated ROTF, but now it's coming along for the ride!

Hmm, maybe I'm misreading it, but it seems like the standalone version is 3D Blu-Ray only. Won't that look terrible without a 3D TV?

No because you can shut off the 3D. I have Shrek in 3D, and I just turn off the feature and BAM! 2D Shrek.

I already have the first 2 on BluRay, so I'll probably pass on the trilogy pack.

I should of rephrased that I was mainly asking if they ever made a Blu Ray one for TFTM like they did with Reveneg

I seriously hope they don't do the transformable case for the Bluray edition, unless it's for the trilogy pack.

I just want a good trilogy Blu-Ray pack with all the on-disc extras. I can take or leave special packaging.

I bought both of the first two films on DVD, but now I have a BR setup, so I want the trilogy all together. If the 3-pack doesn't work though, I see the first two movies kicking around for very cheap these days.

November eh, just in time for coming out just a few days to weeks after my birthday :lol
That and I seriously hope they do the rumored (or so I thought I remembered reading someone was going to do) upcoming android digital copy on those.. :(  that or I guess it really is time to learn remote desktop access.

(android compatible digital copy was supposed to be put out with unstoppable form fox studios, not sure if it actually happened though)

All 3 sets are nice, hard to decide. I wish they were all combined in one big massive set. :lol

WTF happened to the 2-disc special edition? I have the 2 disc editions for the first film and Revenge of the Fallen!

I'm pretty sure DOTM does not contain IMAX resolution footage. Saw it twice at IMAX and never noticed plus $30mil went on the 3D cameras so I guess the budget didn't allow for the IMAX cameras too.

It will be released as well, it's the stand alone version! Since I'm seeing so many people asking for this, I'm updating the first post, and I hope the staff also updates the news...

I already have the first and second film on Blu Ray with the BIG SCREEN Walmart edition for 2. I could care less about the physical extras, I want the version that has the IMAX scenes in it and any making of featurettes.
