Looks awesome Venksta! The guns look REALLY nice!! Are you still planning on doing the shoulders at some point? If not that's ok, but if you are I'll definitely want to get those too.

Quick update. A lot of people have asked if I will bring the Darkwind kits to BotCon. I already have set aside 200 for the waiting list, and 150 for the website. So I'm thinking of doing a small run, specifically to sell at BotCon. These will have their own numbering, and they'll come with something extra to help set it apart from the main kit. At the moment, I'm thinking about doing 30 kits for BC. Might do a bit more, if I feel there are enough interest. More details on the BC edition to come later.

You are on the list. Anyone who requested it in this, or the sales thread should be on the list. If not, and you had posted a request, PM me with which thread, and post #.

I don't have you on the list. Shoot me a PM on with which thread you made the request and which post #.

Yeah, I'd like to do the shoulders. Not sure when though.

Casting is not taking long as I expected, so I'll be going through the entire waiting list by the weekend. :)  Just finishing the parts will take long for this set.

I'm still playing with the issue. If you don't use the screw, the gap lessens actually. And the fitting between the front and back piece is tight enough, that it won't pop off on its own. So this might be the best solution.

This is a fantastic upgrade, great work Venksta! To be brutally honest I do mind the gap a bit, but overall this is just perfect. I'll have one, now I have to find a Darkwind.

Thanks for letting us know. If you ever do get the time I would definitely purchase a set :thumb

As for this set payment was sent today :)

Hopefully the new Frosted Ultra Detail material will make things a little easier for you as well.

I actually have not used Shapeways for any of my projects since the Blaster kit. That was the last project I had parts made through them. However, the final masters for RF-003, used the current printing service. :)

I know it's too early to ask but do you have a set price on how much this set will cost?

If you care to share, what service are using now? How do the prints compare to shapeways? Costs?

Also, very nice work with your latest upgrade kit. I'd order one myself but the new 3rd party Devastator is cleaning me out.

I'm getting my parts made locally, which uses a SRP prototyping machine. The parts still need some post work before making molds, but its usually only an hour or so to clean them up.

So, when do you ship out orders for people that ordered a while back? I haven't been keeping up with the info on this set.

Venksta hadn't started shipping the sets due to Canada's postal service having been on strike preventing the movement of any mail. They just recently ended the strike so these should be shipping soon, if they haven't already. Venksta said he'd send out an email notice to each of us once they've been shipped.

Can I get confirmation that, because I should be on the waiting list here (though I've received no payment instructions yet) that I should NOT buy one from the website? I believe that's the case, since there's a 200 person waiting list here and 150 available on the site, but I'd like to be sure. Thanks.
