wow can't wait to see the pics! really wish we'd get some animated stories even if they're just a couple of one shots or mixed series specials from IDW, the stories they had planned for season 4 looked really interesting!
Sweet candy apples. With the advent of this baby, a second Autobot might just wind up in my collection. That's saying a lot where I'm concerned.
I feel like IDW's safest move would be to just do a series of miniseries, that way no one has expectations of an ongoing and if it's not working out they don't have to cancel it and can always do another mini down the road.
I'd like to see some Animated comics, but the way IDW has handled the regular TF comics the last couple of years makes me think we might be better off not getting Animated comics for now. Unless every issue will be written by people from the show with full control, and drawn by somebody capable <3 Anyway, good news for us that these projects have been greenlit!
That's great to hear. I'm sure getting that level of, for lack of a better word, authenticity is a priority when making an Animated add-on kit
I wonder if this is based on voyager prime. If it is then they'll have to work some magic to make it as close to that sketches in almanac. But I do hope they succeed. Cause that power armor is fantastic...
Already been confirmed. Really, it was the only option. The only readily available versions of the Deluxe mold are either in battle damaged colours, or crystal. The third option would be to replicate the design model exactly and create an entirely new Prime figure, but encline confirmed that this production group retains an "add-on only" philosophy to stay off of Hasbro's turf, so that's off the table.

tough finding this thread with search disabled, having withdrawls. I took my wingblade prime and began smashing animated voyager prime into his connect point. I cant wait for this!
I don't think t his upgrade is for Animated Prime at all. I believe its for Classic prime. Look at the arms, it has the classic prime arm door things.
The shadow is of the Animated Powermaster Prime drawing shown in the Allspark Almanac. This is definitely Animated.
i may be more excited about this one then i am the menasor one. if they can do a classics version that doesnt look like the dia one then it would rock also.
Nope it IS animated Prime the voyager prime which would have been used as part of this would have been a remoulded and modified version which would have featured the front bumper of the truck mode on his arms in bot mode unlike on his legs like in the regular version. This was so the arms could be transformed back into truck mode leaving the front bumper as the 'belt' for the Powermaster form. The Powermaster arms would have been completely separate from the voyager primes arms. Its that same feature which makes me thing the Menasor trailer will be a variation of the powermaster armour (note not a recolour but using the same technique) and will have some kind of clip system to clip on the vehicle modes of the deluxes onto the existing frame. Well thats how I would do it anyway. Thinking of which I'm about to be made redundant again. i might give it a go anyway until i find a new job.
