Hmm makes sense that Takara gets ortex since we are getting Spacecase, I wonder what the US will get instead of Skywarp? Is japan getting thundercracker?

Wow, I guess i am the only one who would much prefer a Leader Class Skywarp and Thundercracker than the deluxes.  

 

Yeah but your living in a fantasy land if you think those will ever happen. People are bummed about the deluxe Skywarp not coming here because unlike the leaders you want, it actually exists.

I hope they give the Mech-tech sword that's missing from Hasbro's Movie Dlx Thundercracker to another character down the line (perhaps a repaint or something in a boxed set) so it does at least actually get released in some form it looks a bit strange all this random gun swapping (Optimus & Jolt, Optimus & Mudflap, Roadbuster & Thundercracker - and who knows how many more possibly Skids & Nitro Bumblebee too).

That said I tried Roadbuster's gun on my Starscream and it actually looks OK - so perhaps that is something that's worth having another of too... perhaps I just need to buy two Thundercrackers and give one the two Roadbuster style guns one on each side.

The Original Classics guns look a bit unwieldy though.

 

The line just started, and we're likely getting movie stuff at least around the beginning of next year. Hasbro has already done Thundercracker. Can you honestly think they will not do Skywarp in all that time?

 

Right, of course, because I have that Hasbro Masterpiece Thundercracker right here, oh wait.

Oh course then there is the Classics Mold, where they released Starscream in 2006, and Skywarp later that year, then finally got arround to a mass release of Thundercracker shortly thereafter in 2010-2011...

Well they did do Voyager Thundercracker for the 1st movie, and then release Skywarp with the next one.

Where are Voyager Thrust and Ramjet damnit. Finish the seekers off in a size before you start halfassing a different sized release.

Because it's Starscream, and you know the 2nd biggest villain in the film series. Skywarp and Thundercracker are not even in the films.

If they're saying it's a TakaraTomy only exclusive, then yes I honestly don't think they'll do it.

Doesn't mean the line that follows the film, that still features the Movie aesthetic wouldn't do it. But it seems it won't be coming out in the DotM line proper.

Unless it's an exclusive of sorts, perhaps packed with another figure. That seems likely too.

Apples and Oranges, pal. Masterpiece Skywarp was ~$60, and sold VERY poorly. Why would Hasbro waste money making a toy that by all current measure would just sit there and warm shelves until it was put on clearance for a fraction of it's price? Stores wouldn't want them, so Hasbro didn't make them.

A $12 deluxe toy in an immensely more popular line is a different story entirely. We will get a DOTM deluxe Skywarp, just not soon. Hasbro has said absolutely nothing about any waves past the ones we have now, and we won't know anything until after the movie is out. He's rumored to be in wave 6, but it's still just a rumor.

There WAS a voyager Ramjet. He was a Wal-Mart exclusive along with ROTF Skywarp. Don't know how you could have missed him, he was right there next to Skywarp warming shelves for over a year.

 

Ok, Dirge and Thrust, my bad, regardless my point on them not finishing the voyager repaints still stands.

 

Any information on the diecast content of the new MP Prime? Has the diecast been taken out of Devastator?

 

Just becasue they were created in the 80s does not mean all seekers needs to be made as soon as there is a new starscream mold.

Especially not for a line directed to kids that dont care if they have "all the seekers".

 

Not sure if I want those Chronicle sets for the price. I was hoping for more, too bad....
