This is neither news, nor is it a rumor. This is just Tyrese talking out of his ass.

yeah i'm not putting any faith in comments made by a supporting actor that maybe has total of 30 minutes screen time across the 3 movies about the future development of the multimillion franchise hammered out between hasbro, paramount and spielberg.

don't know how many people mentioned nolan, but i concur if any one, he should be the next one directing the new movies. he's pretty much proven he can direct with well crafted special effects while maintaining a coherent plot.

Yeah cuz he has a sense of humor. Tight ass whiney bitches who probably couln't take a punch usually are the one's to complain. I don't see Spielberg taking the helm. Producing yeah but not Directing.

I personally don't want TF4. I'd rather see them do something based on WFC.

Since there was officially no tf 2 or tf 3 but people called it such then if they did make a wfc movie it'd be tf 4 (though why they would make a movie of a story that's already in a game is beyond me unless some people couldn't beat it...which is still weird because it was a simple game).

This really doesn't seem likely to happen. At all. Spielberg has a history of being the guy who directs the first movie in what becomes a franchise with sequels, but the sequels are always handed off to someone else. That being said, I can"t see how this could be anything but a positive thing if it were to actually happen.

The best way forward, in my view, would be to go back before the current continuity and explore the wars on Cybertron.

I see no point in rebooting the current franchise and retelling again, how Transformers came to Earth. I simply can't fathom the people who want to see the same story, told in a different, better way (or at least that's what they assume it would be), when there are tons of other TF stories and lore that can be explored.

This is exactly the reason he SHOULD NOT direct one. His best movies came out 20-30 years ago... most of his recent stuff is meh, tho I personally liked Indy 4.

Yes, because 300, Watchmen and Sucker Punch had no emotion. Snyder and Bay are nothing alike. Snyder has large amounts of emotion in his movies.

I still can't believe I even read Snyder being like Bay. :puke2:  That's incorrect on so many levels.

Yes, because he is not involved with the franchise and has less insider info about it's inner workings than you do.

Trust me, if he said it, it's been discussed by people that matter at some point during the the movies run.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
    This.
    This.

I swear if I hear one more person talking about Chris Nolan or James Cameron doing TF movies, I'm going on a killing spree. Especially Nolan... his style of directing is nearly the same in every movie... His style does not evoke the wonderment and sense of fantasy needed in a TF movie.

This times a million (I have nothing against Abrams, I just like Spielberg a whole lot better.)
    OH MY GOD.
If this rumor is true, it will officially be one of the highlights of my life.

With all due respect, love Speilbergs films. However That last Indy film was straight rubbish! I thought Bay humor was bad with the humping dogs/robots,twins etc. But thats nothing compared to Shia swinging on vines like a monkey, the tired & obvious stunts or the lead fridge that can survive a nuclear blast. If his next few directorial projects are on point, then i'm on board. Also still a little upset with what Orci & Kurtzman did with ROTF & Mission Impossible 3.

Oh man not another movie even though I do like them, I just want a change. I hope 3 is all we get in a triology cause frankly I would really like it to sort of go back to some G1 style.

Spielberg still has a feel of old time Hollywood blockbuster, though. Bay's is the complete opposite, of modern slam-bang blockbuster. Some prefer the older.
