Here's a thought: if the trailer bot is called the "Omega Armor"...does that make the official shots of the wings make a bit more sense?

    Think G1 Omega Supreme.

According to the tfwiki's representatives at the fair, the cab toy is smaller than a Leader class.

    You think that's bad?

UK collectors will have to pay £80 and that's the equivalent of just over $128

It makes me thankful I can't stand the thing :)

Thanks for posting the video. At 0:59 you can see a smaller Optimus Prime with a trailer. I must have that toy.

Huh... That video shows Sideswipe's bot mode. I haven't seen a single photo of that yet, and the camera in that video was shaky and blurry as hell.

Did anybody take a Sideswipe bot pic?

I paused the video at about 2:04, and it wasn't too blurry to see. It appears that his thighs have the seats on them.

To me it looks like when he uses his gun he gets a battle helmet with a visor.

The best one I saw was in Seibertron's gallery.

yeah, they're probably misstransformed back-to-front. If you saw the Collector's Club exclusive pic, the legs were different with the seats on the back.

Holy crap. If this stuff had been around in the 80s, we would have been biting through the front doors of toy stores to get to it.

Kids these days, get off my lawn etc

Hmmm.. Gotta say, kinda disappointed.. The only thing good abt it is the trailer... If the trailer is in scale with my ROTF Leader Prime, it would look awesome.. Then I wld get it just for the trailer.. Is the trailer removable in the first place?? Sure hope so, coz if its in scale and its removable, it wld go well with the ROTF Leader Prime...

I just do not understand how ROTF Optimus Prime could have digressed into this....the tractor mode is soo weak and unrealistic!!!

I wonder if HFTD Battle Blades Prime will fit inside the trailer armor. I doubt it though, the trailer probably has connection points to hold it on to the Optimus it comes with.

If the Prime alone is "voyager" sized, then I'm a monkey's uncle. If Omega Armored Prime is 22" tall with the wings down, then he is either about 14" or 11" inches tall depending on if the 22" goes to the head or the top of the orange prongs respectively. I'm going to guess the latter.

So he isn't QUITE a Leader (which tends to be about 12" or so) but that's much bigger than a voyager, especially a voyager for this line. The truck I'm guess is about 10" or so, since I'm estimating the trailer is about a foot and a half and the truck is about 2/3s that length.

This is all really un-precise of course, based on the pictures we've seen so far, but I feel pretty confident about it.

i dont know about all that

i mean, the trailer makes up the bulk of Ultimate Prime's height

if you look there, the knee pads for optimus are right up just under the crotch area
his feet only go to about the knees

even looking at vehicle mode pics from toy fair, that trailer is stinkin H.U.G.E. you wanna know where all them inches of height is coming from? its there. certainly not the optimus figure himself. id say he's around voyager size, give or take a little bit.

course id love to be wrong. i love big toys :p

My guess is mistransformed. I bet there is something that was left out to complete the arms and the top "wings" in combined mode look to me like they are supposed to fold down to give a swept back wing look similar to a fighter jet. But who knows.

Well, what I did was take the original shots we saw and resized the unarmored Prime until his head was the same size as the armored Prime. The arms and knees lined up too. This made him between 1/2 and 2/3 the rumored 22" of height (mentioned previously in this post) when the wings are folded down.

Yes, the trailer is huge, but again, compare it's length to the length of the truck itself. Not accounting for perspective, the truck is roughly 2/3 the length of the trailer. It looks much smaller because a good portion of that is the bed and the trailer is a large brick, but the length is there in the truck. It'll probably be about to scale with Leader Sentinel Prime.

Also, if the truck has electronics in it (that seems to be the case) it has to be larger than a voyager, that's just too small to fit the batteries and board and speaker unless Hasbro changes up everything.

Like I said, it isn't quite leader size but it isn't a small voyager either.
