Great idea for an exclusive, and a good way to rope in both Joe and TF camps. I'm not really a Joe collector, but I'm definitely gonna try to get my hands on this. If it does well (as it almost assuredly will), here's to hoping for next year's exclusive to be a Powerglide repaint of the Rattler. With Duke, uh.... listening to a mini Blaster boombox. Yeah.

 

I'm glad that it was made but the fact that it's a exclusive is a downer.

 

Definitely looks amazing. The only downside I see is that it is going to be so f---ing hard to get it's almost not going to be worth it. I will, of course, try like the dickens to get one, but I'm bracing myself for failure.

 

Y'know...I hope they make enough of these things considering that, yes, Joe and Transformer fans will be after this bit.

 

Hmmm.... I'm considering going this year since I live in San Diego. It's just... Those damn lines. And all the people... Ugh..

Hopefully these will be up on HTS on the Monday following SDCC, as usual, and in larger numbers than typically are allotted.

So is this considered a SDCC GI Joe Exclusive or a TF exclusive? I ask since I do not remember seeing a TF Exclusive in all the pictures, but there is already a GI Joe Exclusive (Zaranas), SW exclusives, and even an Indy exclusive

Exactly. This thing doesn't transform. It's just colored (and not very well from the pics I've seen so far) to look like StarScream. And a tiny gun. I really hope they announce another exclusive. One that TRANSFORMS.

there is going to a ton of pissed off Fandom when this shit pops for like 3 seconds..then immediately to SOLD OUT for the rest of the time it is listed on the site.

 

So tfomers.com is saying other figures will be announced as SDCC gets closer. So that takes the edge off for me. Cause as cool as this G.I. Joe toy is, I really want a transformer exclusive too.

 

Thats a nice toy there.... SO... Who will be the first to make the thing transform for the Radicon's forum now?


On a side note... Anyone else kinda ticked that they still only tease us with the cross-overline?

My take here is that they are expanding the human alliance stuff to see how to do it .. Kinda Prototype. Then when the movie stuff/Prime stuff to finally wind down and when they need a new line they'll pop it on us.

 

Why buy 3 to repaint when you could get the mass release new skystriker which knowing sdcc exclusives will be cheaper.
