Still it would be easy to make the design work for a Slipstream, which now I actually hope they release.
I find it funny that those who don't like his in show model, like this figure. While I like his in show model, but hate this figure. ...Go figure. She just may get her own mold, given the creators recently stated that there's a "kickass Decepticon female" in the show's future.
Anybody who thinks Starscream could easily be desirably redecoed into Slipstream doesn't really understand anatomy. She'd look terrible.
They might be talking about Black Arachnia tho. Either way, from the looks of everything so far it'll be awesome.
The only drawback about this figure is the lack of red on his head-spike thingy, but some creatively-placed Sharpie should be able to fix that.
I don't think that'd really work for TFP, unless they just end up rehashing the exact same story from TFA. And I don't really see that happening. I'm thinking if the female Decepticon isn't Slipstream, then it's going to be a new character.
Well, seeing how they took some bold interpretation liberty on some characters (Starscream's not red and his voice isn't that of a crazy 13yo girl? Soundwave doesn't have his trademark face?), it could work to have Black Arachnia as a spider-vehicle hybrid of sorts or even a triple changer. Not that I'm rooting for Black Arachnia or anything, I loved Slipstream back in TFA, just mentioning that there is the possibility.

He's scrawny in the show, hence why I prefer the figure. Sure the latter is scrawny too, but not as much as in the show.
That's a stupid reason. And honestly, the contrast of "scrawniness" between this and his in show model is not by that much. The things I hate about this are the legs hanging under the alt-mode, and his dumb little tail in robot-mode. It's just a fugly looking figure. just watched all the episodes the other day, man Starscream gets no respect lol. his toy seems pretty accurate, although I don't know why they went with triple missiles on his arms instead of the single one in the show. you know whose toy I really want to see? Soundwave's. hopefully his drone will pop off his chest like in the show.
Looks good to me, although fingers crossed they whip out a voyager skyquake at some stage. he friggin rocks
