I know, but I'm just saying that Hasbro has done something like that before, even if by mistake. I mean, Dawn of Future's Past Cheetor, Rhinox, and Dinobot weren't cheetahs, rhinos, or dinosaurs. Even if they were trying to homage the originals, it doesn't take much to change their names, suck as Rattrap to Rattletrap.
Hey, anytime; I've been following TFW alot longer than I've had this account so it's good to circulate the more obscure info where I can. This! While I have no hands-on knowledge of Titanium toys, Cosmos would be more easily obtainable as Generations/ whatever Classics is called then release, whether they use that prototype, those designs or start from scratch. While there's no one clear approach for Classics/Henekei etc releases (coming from two entities), they seem to be using some of the Legends figures to gague the market; maybe favourable sales of Warpath and Cosmos lead to the post heading this way? Also each character is represented by a toy and a name. Securing the latter is a legal investment, recuped of course through putting toys out there; no small thing for G1 identities that've been around for the better part of three decades now! In between those points is the Trailcutter matter; alot of us want him as, a) Trailbreaker and b) Deluxe class, but they can watch the reception of the Legends fig to deem these things prudent (also downscaling the any fuss as per Bluestreak/Silverstreak). Phew. On topic- Warpath is both kibble clean and solidly built. Look at Animated Snarl side on to see the opposite of what I mean lol. The Blitzwing point? At least this shows alot of us want one... just not based on this toy. Of the three 'Con triple changers, Blitzwing could probably carry a Voyager on popularity (though ofcourse his altmodes are smaller than those of Astrotrain and Octane). Still holding out for a Guzzle re-release for Warpath... Then maybe some more Wrecker characters, wouldn't you say, Fort Max? XD
On the same coin Bumblebee isn't a Bumblebee and you have to try really hard to associate a name like Blitzwing to a thing without wings. Blitzwing is made up of blitz, as in blitzkreig and wing. Blitzkreigs involved the German airforce bombing the shit out of everyting and then the ground forces rushing in and taking over what's left. A surprise attack on different fronts to keep the opponant from adapting involving air, tank and infantry. Blitzwing happens to be a triplechanger.
Up at BBTS..... $24.99 Generations 2011 Series 04 - Warpath - Transformers 2010 Transformers Generations - Deluxe or Generations 2011 Series 04 - Set of 3 - Transformers 2010 Transformers Generations - Deluxe
^ It's the only figure that's going to be in high demand from that whole case. It will be the THIRD case for Scourge and Kup. That said I'm waiting for a better deal too, for precisely that reason.
lol it sold out when I was checking out. Oh well....I'll just wait for it to go up elsewhere....or get it at retail.
Transformers Generations Deluxe Figures Wave 8 - Hasbro - Transformers - Transformers at Entertainment Earth
I preordered the set of 3. I just couldn't pay that much for a deluxe. Since I've already found Kup and Scourge at Target, I don't need the case I had preordered with them in it, now I can just wait on TC and Wheeljack until this set comes in. I can't believe it sold at out $25.
Yeah, they had him at what, $18? And he sold out before I ever even knew he was on the site. Ah well, I would have skipped it anyway. Too much for a scout, imho. Hopefully I'll find him at retail at some point, if not, well, it's not the first figure missing from my collection.
I don't think it'll be too hard to find at retail.....he'll eventually turn up. No worries. If not I'll get the United version.
He better Red. G1 colors, or no sale. i won't be picky about tread color. g1 gray would be nice, but black wouldn't be horrible. otherwise i'm very excited about this figure.
