Is that Skids hanging from the rear-view an actual re-color of something, or just some kind of mock-up? This event looks like an easy "exclusive" figure opportunity for Tak/Tom. Plus they wouldnt have to go very far to make it. All 3 of the Skids toys are pretty cool, IMO. (dlx, HA, legends) I like the colors of the "tuner" version, just not enough to buy another one. Although, I'm a sucker for "themed" displays... and most of the box stores around my area
have both of the twins in "tuner" deco. If the dlxs go back on sale for a sub-$10 price point, and there isnt anything else interesting, and I've got that - non Valtrex - itch, I can see another set twins coming home w/ me.



I REALLY hope these 2 arent on the new movie.

Holy crap people, this is not Skids from DotM. There are absolutely NONE of the extremely distinct movie design elements anywhere on this sculpture. It's strictly car parts, no 'alien' in there at all. C'mon now, sheesh.

I'm pretty sure that is not skids but a presentation because skids is now black not full green Not to crazy about that bot mode But it may not look like that in the movie.

 

I actually kind of like the way it looks. I might even consider it an improvement if it did turn out to be Skids.

BUT- the real issue was their personalities. I really hope we don't see much of them in this movie.

 

It's a tie-in, not a tie-up.

It's kinda neat how they made the statue out of nothing but car parts.

 

That robot is nutty. I thought Skids looked weird. (Well, he still does, but that 'Bot's weirder)

 

Not-Skids reminds me of that Camshaft/Swindle movie drone (assuming he's looking down). I like it, especially the big hands.

I wonder what toy that is hanging around Not-Skids. Skids, I'd imagine, but which one? HA/Deluxe, Rotf/DotM?

 

All I know, is if they make a toy of that thing, it's going to probably be a nightmare to Transform, just like Skids and Mudflap were.

I like the piston-fingers, very original. I'm not sure about the head. If the 2 stalks on his head have eyes, like the martians from the "toy Story" It will look dumb imho. If that dark space on the lower part of his face is a cyclops eye, I take back everything I said about Skidz.

 

I can't wait to see rows of dozens of "SPARKED SKIDS" on the shelfs at Wal-Mart.
