This is 2010. Robot curl up into fetal position and hide under backpack isn't going to cut the mustard as a transformation anymore.

I never would have thought that something that looks so much like Thunderwing could ever look like anything other than Thunderwing, but damn. That is Jhiaxus.

Oh, Cyclonus is one of my favorite toys ever, but the "engines" of his spacejetthing mode are just sad. The toy emphasizes robot mode and I'm more than fine with that.

 

Then it's a good thing that anything more than a passing glance shows that this isn't the case with Thunderwing.

 

Well I can only speak for myself but I'm going to use my Thunderwing exclusively for cutting mustard.

 

Picking up this figure is iffy. Since I've never owned a version of this character he may make it into the collection.
