Your dad sounds like a real charmer! Sorry to say that.

I heard in TF Prime the robots will be quite violent, ripping off arms and such. Maybe that will convince him? :p

I hear you there. Not only do I not go shopping on Black Friday, I won't even set foot on vacant property if it's zoned for commercial, on that day.

Same here, but I'll be checking the PVR to see if maybe some other channel has it.

Not trying to be a negativist, but I can't help but feel that the name Team Prime is foretelling that the only other Autobot we'll be seeing is Cliffjumper. *Sighs* Will just have to see.

I will probably be out of town for Thanksgiving. Where I will be staying, I don't know if they will have Hub TV or not.

Sweet can't wait for this! Is it just me or does it sound like half the posts atleast are about not being able to watch it? I kinda feel bad for the fans that can't watch the show or even the channel for that matter.

Excellent! Finally, a release date. It strikes me odd why the Hub has been treating this release date like state secrets.

But, Hasbro's about to loose a lot of ratings from eager TF fans - half of us aren't getting the Hub, including me. So YouTube it is for me. They were able to do it with all of Animated, they're gonna do it with TF Prime.

    Darkness Rising, huh?

Printed ads that I've seen (they're not out yet) say the premiere date is Monday November 29th. I don't know about the G.I.Joe Renegades date since I didn't see any ads for it.
Also where has HUB comfirmed the Black Friday date?

I'll have that entire week off from work and school and ALL I'll be thinking about is "Prime's airing, Prime's airing."

This is sounding very kiddy. "Team Prime" "big bad Megatron" and other cues have a very young appeal to it. Also the rest of the shows on the Hub are along the lines of Nick Jr. and Playhouse Disney it seems.

I know Transformers is a kid's thing to begin with but this seems exceptionally childish.

Think of it this way. Transformers Prime is rated TV-Y7(FV), the same rating as Avatar: The Last Airbender. So there's still hope.

Looking forward to it, though some of the times they're showing to finish the mini-series is right when I'm at work and the rerun days are when I'm involved with a gig I'm playing. Go figure. And I'm DVR-less so can't record it.

    *Sigh*

VCRs can be had for a song nowadays, and there are tons of left-over 8-hour tapes also to be had.

I still use a VCR to record shows, since my digital cable can move to channels in advance for me, I just set the VCR to record at those times. If I don't intend to save a show, but just watch it once or a few times and then go over it, this setup works ideally.

Sometimes new tech blinds people to the possibilities of the old, I see.

Oh, I've got a VCR, three actually. I just don't have time at the moment to mess with connecting it and the times I've tried to it failed so. *shrugs* I'm not adverse to using the VCR, it just seems to be adverse to me using it.

Back in the day I recorded TF on cassette tape because I didn't have a VCR.
