Whats the point in paying $100 for a figure you can get for $/£12.99 in a few months, all it takes is patients

 

G1 Tracks had a pretty big overhead backpack, with the back of the car and the missile racks...this makes them look very similar and gives them a kinda similar feel.

You forget which fandom you're talking about here, brother!   Patience isn't really one of our strong suits...but I'm never "pay 7x retail price just to be first" impatient!

 

That is what we have in this fandom, an abundance of mental patients.

 

I'm not saying it'll make the perfect Wheeljack, but any half way decent WJ is better than none. But this mold looks like it was designed to be WJ even more than Tracks.

Wait 2-4 weeks and you'll find some for $15-25 from a reputable seller (and I'm not talking about KO Toys).

 

It's good to see more of this figure; I'm looking forward to it   Then again, I'm looking forward to Darkmount and WfC Megatron, along with the rest of the non-wave 1 toys, but I digress . . . .

I tend to reserve a lot of judgment of my opinions of toys until I hold it in my hands and fiddle with it for a while. More often than not, things tend to either look better or worse in my hands. Until then, I just keep saying things like I do above

Anyway, to me this looks more like Alternators Tracks without the kibble problems and cheats. And if you can't use a 70's Stingray, this new generic car is a pretty good fit. I will buy this on sight.

 

You know, I finally figured out what his alt. mode reminds me of - RID Sideburn.

And that is cool.

Tracks looks great, even if I don't like G1 characters so much, I always loved Tracks design (yeah! car with wings! xD) so I'll buy him in sight... now I would like to know how much I should wait for that wave to appear here in Chile (no Generations Wave 1 yet... damn, not even NEST voyagers! and we have already HFTD here)
oh yes, btw... I think he will get a Red Repaint with slight remold, maybe called "Side Burn" or "Super Speedbreaker"   I would rather Wheeljack to have a new deluxe mold instead of being a repaint

 

... Question; Does anyone seriously BUY those figures at those prices just to get'em a few weeks before everyone else?

Why so much Wheeljack? Why NOT? We're hoping we see something on him soon. Red repaint = Road Rage. Yes we'd all like to have 'jack as a new mold, but we are familiar with Hasbro's repaint practices, and we are preparing for the eventuality. Nothing wrong with that.

Yes they do. Someone brought a, what, $300 Animated Blitzwing just so he could be the first to do a review. And someone got it at regular price and beat him to it. He was pitching a BITCH when that happened.  

 

I love the toy, but the fact that a $12 toy sold for $118 shipped just goes to prove the fact there people in this world with too much money and not enough __________. Feel free to fill in the blank.
