I had zero plans on getting this 3 pack,even if it was released as a usa target store exclusive.

I'm satified with owning 2 of each figure via hasbro's classics toy line.

Given the news, I broke down and grabbed the set. Cyclonus is the one I want most out of this. I may keep Rodimus, but I'm not sure what I'll do with Galvatron.

 

You should play around with him before making your mind. He's not that bad. IMHO all the flak the toy is getting is over-exaggerated.

This. I actually like Galvatron, and the 3 pack Cyclonus is leaps and bounds better than the henkei version. Not to mention more anime accurate.

 

I really wanted this set for the Cyclonus as I really like this color scheme, so I decided to get it now. I love all the molds, I have all of the originals, I just don't really care for the color choices of Galvatron and Hot Rod in this set. But I guess I'll just wait til I get it next week to see what it looks like in hand.

 

It's not so much of disliking the toy. I already own the Classics version and really don't need to own 2 of that mold. Maybe I'll just keep him in tank mode.

 

No big price hike soon. Robotkingdom has almost 900 of these available and it costs about $55 shipped.

 

Well that's good, at least some will have a fighting chance on getting a set for themselves later.

The only thing is Robotkingdom also sells wholesale to most online retailers in the US and they might snag a few hundred of those.
