There was no indication that this will be released in the US market. The only thing that was mentioned was from an AA news update that was later corrected. Here was the post.

 

Wasn't the price for the 3 pack like 39.99 or something through places like BBTS and TFSource? Up to 54.99 now. Although I could be completely wronf about that.

 

It was always $54.99. $39.99 was one of the prices thrown around by wishful thinking fans on how much the set would cost if it was released in the US.

This still might be a surprise item as a "Black Friday" item.

 

better just get the damned package now...if you all quibble and wait...it will go out of stock and then the price will just climb on the after market....

on a side note...crystal rodimus is the BOMB!

just got my sons of cybertron set today....very nice....optimus is even 1/2 way ok too.

True...but even those chances seems to be incredibly slim. With Hasbro saying this now, and it's only just over a couple of months before Black Friday, and with no retailer assigned to it......yeah....that's a no go.

Darn, I really wanted that set released here...I'm not willing to pay import prices for it though. I need to cut back on my spending.

man thats a buncha crap. They should give us that damn 3 pack over here...especially for those of us who cant get a freakin' classics hot rod and god knows hasbro isnt gonna make a new...better more articulated one. Buncha bastids!!

 

BBTS has the set for $54.99, even with shipping that's still not so bad, especially considering people want almost $40 for just Classics Rodimus, what's another $20 or so for two more figures with all three having superior color choices than the originals?

And anyway, "no plans" doesn't mean "never". A lot of former Asian-exclusives and paintjobs started out with Hasbro having "no plans" to release them, but those plans eventually changed. So maybe they will again?

 

True, but "no plans" means at least means not this or next year.
