Guys.. It's five maps and two characters, dont forget huge titles like Halo gave out three maps per DLC.

Annnnnnd, sweeeeeeet, they look great, I need someone to replace my Ironhide and 2nd Breakdown in Multiplayer.   They look kickass.

 

Only two characters? I would have thought there would be more but what do I know?  

 

I welcome the emphasis on maps this time around. The the two maps that came with the first DLC pack weren't enough.

 

Dead End looks awesome, but I'm not spending ten bucks on two characters, especially since I don't even like Zeta Prime.

 

Those new maps look BATSH-T INSANE!

Really glad, I nabbed a $20 PSN card instead of a $10 one.

 

shame there's not a campaign add on, that would have been cool.

hope it's not too expensive, I won't bother otherwise.

It's a ripoff that they're charging the full amount again. But this is my favorite game and only one I play online... (obviously or I would have stopped playing online after reaching Prime mode) And I'm a sucker for a good TF game...

Interesting that the file size is bigger for fewer characters/chassis.

This is bitter sweet. awesome new dlc but only two new characters  . why can't they give us characters from the DS version like Ultra Magnus and Rodimus?

 

Yeah!!! At least we're getting a new Descepticon Scout... And the levels might be huge or detailed based on the size of the download VS before. The last set of new levels was rather blah.

 

The maps are astounding though - just cruising around Horizon with Sideswipe in a quick private match to get the lay of the land - it's utterly gorgeous. Stand on Conquest Nodes A and C and look out at the horixon - you can see Omega Supreme occasionally firing at unseen enemies in the distance. The bases even have extra little details - the Autobot side has a 3D map of the planet, war-torn and such, where as the Decepticon's version has it full of jagged Dark Energon streteched up from it, with a little miniature War Machine perched on it. Really nice little details - I cant imagine them being taken much notice of in a frantic MP game sadly.

Sounds good. One of the reasons I ran thru the campaign again was to re-experience Cybertron.
It seems that the detail & effort that went into making the Cybertron scenery has been underappreciated, lots of cool details easily missed during battle.
I mean how long have we waited for an ancient Cybertron Transformers experience with no humans around or little kids to save or defeat Megatron for you? I know I've been waiting since 1984.  

 

Unfortunately, as far as we know, those characters were never made for the games on the PS3/PC/360 versions.

 

This isn't even up on PSN yet. When do they update again?

I suppose if I knew more about DLC, I'd know what most of those angry with the new content were angry about (I know price is an issue for some), but when I look at a game like Uncharted 2, the first to DLC packs don't look all that bad.

 

That's because they were made by an entirely different company. We might as well wish for Master Chief to be in the game.

And the $10 price tag is standard. Halo charges $10 for 3 maps remember. We're getting 5 and two characters. Sounds like a good deal to me.
