I got my 2 yesterday. I did not get collector grade and they both arrived perfect. They even used a decent size box with bubble wrap. HasbrotoyShop . Com could take from them. I ordered a blaster and the box it came in was big enough for a large microwave. Also two small pieces of brown paper as packaging. They suck bigtime... Sorry got off topic. Aprim, I am sure I could find some Star Wars figures MISC for ya around here. I stopped collecting after having to find all those coins. I finally got the full set of gold coins and said I am done. At this point I would sell them all.

 

after opening my boxed seacons set....snaptrap is missing a heel spur...some of the joints have the looseness when attaching the arms or hands. into the different peg holes...but this set is better in my 2 cents vs the OFTCC set...my first set i sold in disgust...got a 2nd set off of ebay and it is better than the first OFTCC set that i owned..

 

Mine arrived yesterday and after reading about the head being off during shipping, I checked mine and it seems to be okay.

to be honest the vintage packaging trend has been out for awhile and honestly, the excitement about that is fleeting once you come to terms its not really vintage.

add to the fact that in vintage packaging you wouldnt see seacons in combined form and i have to say, this was a good choice on hasbros part.

Why? This is a BBTS exclusive, marketed at collectors only. We KNOW it combines, and most of us who bought it would have bought it regardless of what packaging it was in. Some would, no doubt, have prefered a vintage look. Others like it this way. I honestly don't think it would have mattered.

 

Well, several people I know passed on this because they already have vintage ones. I am the only one that didn't, probably because I am nuts. Without a doubt every one of them would have gotten this set if it was in a vintage box. On the flip side I don't think anyone that bought one would say, "vintage packaging?!?....pass! I would have bought this if it was in combined mode in clear packaging!"

 

I actually prefer this packaging. I think it looks great this way.

 

I bought this and I also have vintage. The small Seacons were drones in Masterforce, so I'm troop-building!

 

Yeah that's kind of why I got them too. Let me re-phrase and say none of my collector friends here in O-town got them that had the vintage. And my friend Danny in Miami, he didn't get them just because of the incorrect colors on some of the figures though. I don't think even he would have passed with a vintage box.

 

Mine just arrived today he is awesome, he looked so great in package my wife wants to get a second one so can display him in box too!

 

Mine came in today as well. He's going to be staying in his box though as I already have the vintage one on display so this one gets displayed in box.

 

I have found a place to store all the individual bots on the big guy in combined mode, all Except Snap Traps big rifle, I just cant find anywhere good to stick it on him.

Has anyone found a place?

 

Got mine as well and its perfect , very pleased.

 

The screw holes on his altmode's rear legs are perfectly sized to fit his gun. You can holster it there.
