What's interesting is that out of all the voice actors they could've chosen they had to go with a lot of big names.

    Go figure!

Too many companies are doing it.

Just because you have a big name doesn't necessary mean they can do the job justice. Only a handful are ever that lucky.

Putting the VAs who've been at it for years doesn't say much.

    But I digress.

Could Gina Torres be voicing Chromia, maybe?

Well, that's what Sony's done for every single action cartoon they've produced (Extreme Ghostbusters, Men in Black, Godzilla, Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot, Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles, Jackie Chan Adventures, Spectacular Spider Man) and Hasbro studios is made up entirely of the people who worked on all those cartoons, so I'm not really seeing how this is a huge shock. Big Guy & Rusty the Boy Robot starred Jim Hanks, of all people. It's not like any of those shows had particularly BAD acting, did they?

Cullen and Welker are gimmies to the fanboys. Mind, I have no attachment to G1, so I couldn't care less who's playing who, as long as they're good, but if you expected any other G1 voice actors to return, well, let me introduce you to my friend called 'reality'.

I'll still crack up if someone other than Corey Burton voices Shockwave, though. (Come on, he's the main villian for TF3, he'll be in the second season, mark my words.) It could happen!

When you have your studio headed by Stephen J. Davis, you get his Rolodex too. Don't know how he keeps bringing in people not known for voice acting, but I'm not complaining, long as they're good.

She wasn't announced, I was just speculating. There aren't a lot a female Transformers, and there are three women in the cast.

Wow, first Wash is in TF3, and now Zoe is in Transformers Prime.

Lets get Adam Baldwin, Nathan Fillion, and the rest in this show...

I appreciate your efforts, trust me. I just took issues with what I consider misrepresenting what parts were 'new' and what parts were already known. But enough said, keep up the good work!

I hope that this cast list isn't the full cast list to TF:p rime, I don't know about any of you guys but I was actually hoping to hear more of the WFC voice cast especially Johnny Yong Bosch's Bumbleebee, Steve Blum as narrator, Crispin Freeman (though not to take away from the cast that we have got already),although too bad Remar isn't doing Megatron in the series cause I actually prefer him as Megatron than Welker (despite my elitest G1 puritism). Than again this cast is noticeably smaller and probably isn't recorded where any of the big time English anime VA's can get to...oh well...still looking forward to the show.
