Good point! I take what I said back about getting worried that he lied about reducing the stupid humor. (now it just depends on what his definition of "reducing" is!)

I guess Michael Bay is not a bad filmmaker after all. Bay didn't forget to put Wheelie in act 3 of Movie 2. The character didn't just disappear. It wasn't sloppy crap filmmaking and poor editing after all. Wheelie was too busy to show up in the 3rd act of Movie 2 because he was busy shooting his scenes for movie 3. Makes so much sense. I can rest easy now.

Or maybe there wasn't anything for a robot the size of a chihuahua to do when there's a 100 foot monstrosity lumbering about.

I just don't how it's possible to tone down wheelie & the twins to make them better. they'll still have the same annoying voices & talk like street talk.
they'll still act all clumbsy & make crude & rude jokes.

they'll still ruin all the scenes there in.

Well that’s subjective. As long as there aren't any crude humping jokes, I'll have no problem with Wheelie.

The Twins are a tough call though, cause they have been publicly marked as politically incorrect stereotypes. The only thing they could do to avoid massive political outcry, like with ROTF, is to limit them to background characters. Though really, any screen time at all will probably be enough for people to start complaining.

Well, the Twins are back but we've seen them what? All of maybe two times, in brief shots. It's apparent they're not around for much of the filming we've seen so far, so as it's been said, they're having minimal screen time.

Wheelie is likely the same as without Megan Fox around there's likely to be less leg-humping.

To my knowledge Bay never said he was going on one of his 'misinformation campaigns' for this film. It's entirely plausible to bring Wheelie back to some extent as he was a more important character in ROTF than Jolt was. Casual movie-goers will remember Wheelie, not Jolt.

Even though i'm not Wheelie's biggest fan, I found he made better comic-relief than the Twins did, and am glad he's back for TF3.
