Still catching up with the thread, but uh, I'm a mom, and maybe I'm more laidback than most parents, but ROTF was absolutely tame compared to most movies that have a PG-13 rating. *shrugs* It's one of my son's favorite movies to watch, though out of TF, he prefers G1 over the Bay movies. Really though, don't use the parent excuse to justify your hatred for it, because some of us parents don't have an issue with it.

I didn't really like Wheelie's whole "humping" scene, but other than that I loved the little guy. Glad to see him back, though I'm curious what he'll be doing now that he's without his "Warrior Goddess".

 

I thought micheal bay said on various sites: " that all the sillness that ruined the Rotf mivie will be absent from the TF3 movie."

With wheelie & the twins back in TF3,That basically means the over the top sillness returns.

I wasn't a fan of all those wheelie & twins scenes in TF2.

 

I got bored after like page 3.
But people talk about no real story in the movie/s whoever you ask depends on which movie.

NOW people want MORE characters so they can tell less of a story. Gotta love fans...........

I was hoping Mikaela would take him with her. Sure Sam would have to pay child er... alien support but at least that would be one less nuisance in these movies

 

Yeah, but you can never tell what will turn out to be true and what is false until you acutally see the movie. (he doesn't lie about everything does he?   ) We can't assume that something he has said is false because of the misinformation campaign....but people have to realize that it MAY be false.

The whole misinformation thing actually kind of drives me crazy. I can't get my hopes up for something that Bay says (like a reduction of stupid humor) only to find out later that he lied (I really hope that one wasn't a lie!) Humor is ok. The first one was better than the second in that regard. A few things definitely coulnd have been left out of ROTF.

I know Bay wants to keep stuff secrect. I don't want to know EVERYTHING about the movie before I see it (I should stop looking at all the boards then, huh?) but I also want to be able to trust at least most of the info that comes from the director's mouth about the movie. If he doesn't want to reaveal something just don't say anything rather than lie.

 

Good. I was afraid Bay sent Wheelie the way of Old Yeller like Barricade and Jolt.

 

He lies about the characters and plot to throw fans off, but he wouldn't lie about trying to fix the movie! That's just plain ridiculous, and you know it.

Yeah... apparently, not a lot of people on this forum know how movies work...   It's not about the characters. It's the writing!
