i picked up soundwave last year but this year blaster is an easy pass

his g1 mold is just too big and would be an eyesore for my collection, if he was the same size as music label soundwave, i'd be all over it.

plus i'd rather spend the money on TRU's Masterpiece Grimlock

How fast did Soundwave sell out last year?

Less than an Hour on HTS although If i remember correctly a small amount of stock did come back online a few day after the initial stock sold out but Blaster's popularity is a good deal less than Soundwave's so its hard to predict how well this might sell.

that Blaster is cool, and i like that he comes with all those tapes, but i don't thikn i'll be getting this set... at least not yet... depends on if i get my bonus check in soon or not... but Botcon toys definitely take priority at the moment...

but Prowl will be mine... gotta make sure i get some money to my friend before he goes cuz i totally want him... and that means i need to start buying more Mighty Muggs since the only other one i have is Grimlock... maybe i'll finally pick up Jazz and Shockwave...

    Even with tax.....

.........that's a ridiculous mark-up. Sorry Joel, but that's just gouging.

It's hard to say how much BBTS themselves has to buy each one for. We can assume they are paying more than the $49.99 price for most of them since there is no easy way to buy them for that price in bulk. They have to buy them all from other resellers who also want a profit.

And of course, this is so they can service the overseas customers who have virtually no other option to get their hands on these. BBTS doesn't really expect any US buyers to jump on it with that markup.

The Pacific Rim usually gets SDCC exclusives in bulk though. They have in the past.

Wait for HasbroToyShop. It should be $49.99 there.

I'm gonna go with the Magic 8-Ball here: "Outlook not good."

    Well,

I'm going to SDCC for first time this week, and a newbie question. Is it cash only when you want to buy the TF's or they accept credit card?

Box art seems to be slightly different to that posted initially, going by the photos on Yahoo! Japan. Seems that sellers there already have SDCC Blaster in hand!

^ I haven't seen anything official for this year, but I seem to remember HTS SDCC items going up earlier in the past, like 8 or 9AM EDT.
