Wave 2 has Darkmount and Megatron. Wave 3 has Red Alert and Soundwave. Dirge and Blurr are wave 4. The page that this news post is linking to has pictures of what's in every wave.

 

Not sure if I'm digging Dirge's shade of blue. It looks a litte too light and bright to me. Hopefully it'll look darker in person.

With Dirge, I can't believe that after about a year of staring at 4 seekers (got a custom TC), that I'll have a complete set in just a few months.

 

That Cybertronian Soundwave looks worse every time I see him. I'm gonna stick with my Henkei Dirge & Red Alert and I think I'll be leaving Blurr on the shelf too.

Wow - Me skipping a whole wave of Generations figures?! What's wrong with me?  

 

Why is everyone talking about white on Blurr? Look at Red Alert and Blurr. Red Alert is white, the light colour on Blurr is a light blue. The only thing I don't like is the dark blue, it is too dark in my opinion. So far, everything in Generations is absolutley fantastic and have all been preordered from BBTS. In fact, WFC Optimus Prime, WFC Bumblebee, Drift and Thrust are already enroute.

 

DARN IT!!!!!! i was really hoping BLURR would not be a re-deco of drift i had a feeling but i was hoping he got his own new design man that peeves me off well he's a figure i wont be getting!!! damn it cheap asses at hasbro

Has there been any pictorial or video reviews of Megatron or Soundwave so far? I really want a good arm cannon wielding Meggie and a good looking Soundwave would be nice as well but some of the pictures of the two keep me from jumping.

Blurr and Dirge though are certain, I definitely want the coneheads together.

 

Generations is looking like the best line in ages,The stuff we have seen pictures of and then the botcon announcements sound amazing.

 

Im not a fan of those early 90's style rims on Drift/Blurr.

 

We've known Blurr was a retool of Drift since before we even knew Red Alert was getting a figure. And Red Alert comes out first

 

They all look nice, I'll just get the g1 guys though. The WFC toys don't interest me.

 

I think you might be right there. I suspect they just maxed out the contrast settings on photoshop. I agree that the dark blue is too dark.

Also, I hadn't noticed it before, but they remolded the spoiler for Blurr. It's different from the one on Drift.

 

well this is the first i've seen of him and it disappoints me i wanted hime to be more like his Animated counterpart

 

i LOVE the war for cybertron stuff but am i alone in thinking prime and megs should at least be a voyager size if not LEADER size? Like the blurr but wish he wasn't just a Drift with a new head. and am sooo looking forward to FINALLY having a proper red alert   have drift so im loving the new style of articulation on Drift and Lockdown. Heres hoping the generations line stick around for quite some time. C'MON HEADMASTERS IN GENERATIONS!!!
