So your complaint about 3D is the sound levels? Okay then.

And then she falls on her knees, praying over his dead/nearly-dead body, repeatedly saying how "She needs him."

No, they went out of their way by the end of the film to show those two as a couple and the jealousy shown by Mikela was appropriate for someone who cared about the other person.

I'm not arguing for the Mikela character or Fox or whatever... I just think that it was pretty obvious that the intent was for their relationship to solidify in the second movie.

All that being said, I'm certain that whatever heavy handed means they take to remove her from the ongoing (though problematic) plot, will only create more plot holes for people to complain over.

Why is everyone so excited for 3D? It's going to ruin the movie!

What's the problem? Just call the new actress "Mikaela" and that's that. Television (soaps specifically) and movies have been doing it for years. It's just hype.
I highly doubt these folk (movie) can see the forest for the trees...there is no problem. Of course, they ould get rid of the civilians and keep NEST and the Transformers...the movie would be better by far!

I hope Comic Con starts some of the movie spin about the robots instead of just spin about who is playing bit parts in the film. Yea it's some really nice choices they have made but I don't think any of us are wanting parts like the hackers from the first film so it's fingers crossed the new talent will actually add something to the story.

Nice to hear that Bay has taken to 3D after he didn't seem too crazy about it at first. Still unless the movie is really great I don't think I'll shell out the extra money to actually see it in 3D.

As far as Tf3 goes, it was a pretty shitty interview. He didn't say anything we didn't already know

So, how does 3-d work now?

I have seizures and it would be a pain to wear any kind of "glasses" over my glasses.

Or is it just in 3-d now without the glasses?

I really hope that it's a case of poor transcribing. Usually LdB is much more coherent in both print interviews as well as the vid-clips that pepper the Net. Nto saying he doesn't backtrack or repeat words, but, yeah - this thing was hard to slog thru.

As far as I know, all the movie-tech 3D requires glasses still. And my mother & several friends that wear eyeglasses wear the current incarnation w/ little to no problem.

As for the seizures... I wouldn't think 3D would increase your risk. It would be more the nature of the movie & scenes (I say this as my mother has to look away from any strobe effects & even serious lighting changes back & forth can set her off).

Unless you have HUGE cokebottle glasses, you should be fine. I wear 3-D glasses over mine. And I can't think how 3-D effects would set off your seizuring.

Right now, the only 3D that doesn't need glasses is the new Nintendo 3Ds. And you have to be the one playing it.

    Also-WOOT! Post 1000!!!!!!!!!

Sorry but it's still having to put glasses on over your glasses. On the bright side they are rather oversized so I don't have any problem fitting them over my glasses. Feels a bit funny on my nose and they want to slip a bit but other than that not too much fuss.

Quality of the 3D seems to have an effect though. I saw Alice in Wonderland in converted 3D and I felt rather sick during most of the film, but when I watched Toy Story 3 in 3D I felt just fine. I'm not sure yet if it's live action, converted film, or what making me feel sick since I've got to be excited about a film to shell out for 3D and there hasn't been much to get excited about this summer.

Not true at all. We can fairly safely assume now, thanks to this comments, that Megan Fox's character has not been recast, but is now out of the movie one way or another. That's something we did not know.

Ah, you know how girls are, one day they love you, then the next day they're bangin your best friend. Then they still want to "just be friends".

Break up or get stepped on by a Decepticon, either way, I'm glad Megan is gone, she was ultra annoying. She's only hot/sexy as long as she doesn't talk.

Wouldn't it be funny if the opening scene is Grimlock stepping on a Megan Fox stunt double?
