He looks cool, but if he had some red parts, he would definitely be an homage to Energon Ironhide...

 

I'm feeling this one. I always liked the blue off--road ironhide before. This looks pretty good.

HasTak are revisiting that Offroad Ironhide dirty blue paintjob? Atleast he won't be as much of a shelfwarmer as the first one was...  

 

Darnit Hasbro, quit making paint jobs good enough to make me buy (essentially) the same mold for the 6th time.

 

I wish they'd lose the Automorph and give the damn thing poseable ankles... he just looks daft with the feet at an angle like that.

 

I like it a huge amount. It looks very cool. That said, another Voyager Ironhide doesn't need to be mine.

 

Who cares about the red? I've seen kitbashes of the movie Ironhide mold - it looks terrible in red. Sometimes I wonder why fans have such fixation on colours...

I think this deco looks fantastic!

 

the dirt is kind'a blah. but i really like the blue. i think it looks WAY better in blue, then it did in black. with black, the detail is so much harder to see. with this, it just looks way better.

i will look forward to this repaint, for sure.

You know, I was lamenting the fact I missed out on Recon Ironhide when I heard that Hasbro wants to keep the clip on weapon play theme going. Now I see this bad boy and I'm glad that I held out.

 

y’know? i've got only one thing to say, and it may have already been said, but:

  

 

The truck looks badass, but in bot mode I think Ironhide looks dumb in blue.

 

Why do I all of a sudden like this? I've hated all the entire Ironhide design. Is his head different?

But seriously...they already made a red Ironhide. The Legends one. Imagine that thing at Delue or this Voyager scale. Yeah...not pretty.

 

Yeah. They revealed at botcon the rescue ratchet white repaint from Nest Deluxe Ratchet. So a Red repaint of the new deluxe Ironhide Sounds Practical to follow.

There is a Arcane but beautiful logic to how Hasbro chooses to tread its repaints.

The new voyager is also sold assuming its not a takara release. Worth getting for the lack of lightning now.

 

Wow, I actually like that alot, still liek the black in the movie but this blue shows off the mold better than the black.

If you put a more G1-er face on it it would be fantastic.

 

Looks good, I'm a bit interested in it because I don't own a Recon Ironhide yet and I like this paintjob better than the weird thunderstripes on Recon.

But yeah, like everybody else, bummed we still don't have a G1 red with yellow stripe Ironhide, like that extra skin in the ROTF game.

I DO hope, if they will release one eventually, they will do so with a possible movie 3 accurate VOYAGER Ironhide, not the new deluxe one. As cool as that one is, I'd like a big one  ...but I guess you can't be picky.
