Man, the smaller scale toys for this year are really shaping up to be really damn awesome.

 

I didn't care about that mold as Breakdown, but I'm interested in having a "real" Skystalker (rather than the ROTF Skystalker which is, admittedly, a cooler mold and more appropriate use of the name) to battle my hilariously large Universe Countdown...

 

I've said it before, I always thought that Skystalker deserved the same treatment as a repainted Armada Jetfire. Countdown got merged with his base, why not Skystalker?

I think the 2nd wave of PCC basics look like total cr@p compared to the first. Awkward proportions, funky heads, "fake" extremities (hands) and semi-indecipherable alt modes (except leadfoot). They seem much more in line with the "core" figs from the 5 packs then the little slice of awesome that Huffer and Smolder are.

 

Does Leadfoot have a chest port for a minicon? I couldn't see one in any of the shots I've seen. I wonder if he was originally meant to be packaged with drones because those commanders don't have chest ports either.

 

Steelshot and Darkstream are going to be repaints of Bombshock and Skyburst, only they'll come with Mini-Cons instead of limbs... so clearly, some of the "power armor" configurations go somewhere other than the chest..

 

Probably just PCC Decepticons for me. Otherwise not a bad looking lot.
