War for Cybertron 'Are' Generations figures. more specifically they are Generation One (of a sort).

They could just as easily decide to a make a couple of Beast Machines characters and sell them under Generations... that's why it's called Generations and not Classics.

Yes there's still some important gaps in G1 homages that could do with filling - but I'd rather have those gaps filled with Generations products than Hunt for the Decepticons products or movie 3 products.

I don't want Hasbro deciding the Grapple homage they want to make is an Off screen Movie character I want one similar to but not identical to Inferno.

So for the time being any Generations toys would likely be boxed sets of repaints of some kind and any new mold may remain as Deluxes.

So we can reasonably hope for Jazz or Wheeljack to be made.

But I think it unlikely they'd bother making Hoist and Trailbreaker for a while.

I don't mind them sometimes using movie molds as G1 homages Brawn's OK and so is Hoist. and I'd not mind in the slightest if they made a sand colored Brawn with a new head and called it Outback (or whatever is similar and passes legal clearance like Fallback).

After all The Fallback we've already got is OK.

I hope that sometime they can come back and use Generation One Characters and other in the Voyager scale as I'd like to see some things specifically made larger than a deluxe.

Warpath would make a nice Voyager sometime.. they might even be able to getaway with engineering something that can double up as Warpath and Armada Megatron.

But there's still a part of me that would like an Armada Megatron DX that can not only complement the STD Convoy / DX Optimus but also perhaps clip onto Energon Megatron's arm and top in it's tank mode.

And plenty of people have expressed an interest in a DX Armada Starscream with a folding back pack too. or a DX size Beast Machines Obsidian or Thrust or Tankor.

So I'd never asume that all anyone might want has to 'only' be related to a couple of years of toys from several decades ago.

And I'd not mind either if they decided to make a Desert Brawl Repaint as a DX Tankor in the Hunt for the Decepticons or as filler for Movie 3 either.

Having a character from one universe reimagined for another is not such a horrible idea - I'd not be averse to them releasing that Animated Hot Shot toy idea either.

ROTF Lockdown was a good idea in general and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't - I feel that ROTF Evac should have been called Blades for example.

Not that I'm adverse to them having made a Voyager Ospray Blades.

I'd like them to use more background characters from the videogames as inspiration for toys both the movie games and the WFC game. (Silverbolt would be nice for example)

But I see Incinerator like Jazz and 1970's Bumblebee as toys that might benifit from a new mold or remold to better bring out the details of the CGI versions.

And then they could make a Bigger Ospray blades that might be rather good.

I wonder if for the 3rd movie they could make a DX Starscream mold that would be a lot better than the FAB and remove some of the quirks of the Voyagers - as I feel the DX Ironhide is far better than the Voyager in everyway bar its size.

I've long speculated that it's a good idea to use characters from the previous movies in the1st couple of waves so that more reference materials are available later and allow more important characters to be made more acurately after a few months.

Things like 1970's Bumblebee, Videogame Characters, Springer, and bigger versions of Bonecrusher, & Blackout ideally fill this idea.

But perhaps they'll have enough references now to make a better Megatron early on as i'm not at all satisified with any of them so far. they are all very poor attempts.

Tomahawk reminds me of Transformers Universe Autobot Whirl and Terradive has a Transformers Robots In Disguise Jiaxus vibe   Can't to get em all :banghead:  Except for Jolt :rolleyes2

This is the same exact mold Shockwave had in: Transformers: The Game

Now all some kit basher needs to do is make a Shockwave head and [IMG] will be epic.

I'm going to buy all 3 of those movie figures for sure, since I passed on the 1st Jolt. I might get the Soundwave also.

Don't judge the colors too much based only on Hasbro's photoshopped pics.

Though it seems Tomahawk does at least lack something like Rotorstorm's pink as a color to 'pop' off his deco.

Not going to wade through 27 pages to see if it's been mentioned already, but does anyone see a (unintentional?) nod to Super Gobots Warpth in Tomahawk?

Awesome. Although, we probably won't see Tomahawk or Terradive until December 2019 or something. ;)

It made think me of that guy too, but yeah, similarities are almost certainly coincidental. Much like how offscreen character Dreadwing from TF1 always reminded me of Super Gobot Spy Eye.

Wish I'd saved my old gobots.

Terradive: If Hasbro's designing, then I want a Jet and a Trident... and nobody's going to say a $h1t about it. :D

Could Terradive be a Jhiaxus reference? I mean there is Darkmount so I dunno. It just rung a certain chord with me.

Tomahawk and Terradive... are they suppose to be part of Wave 4?

Because Wave 3 is red alert, darkmount, soundwave and megatron right?

Tomahawk and Terradive aren't from Generations.
