These sets are still clogging TRUs in New England, along with all their other ROTF exclusives. I would think Headrobots would want to capitalize on the newer figures like Voyager Bludgeon and Tomahawk for these designs, like Fans Project did by pushing off the protector armor to produce the Bruticus upgrade set.

 

What are these ment to transform into guns and heads.

They're likely just replacement heads and attachments to more closely resemble the G1 counterparts of these figures.

Headrobots needs to never stop creating. These look great.

 

The heads (and weapons) do look nice. I will easily admit that. However, I think the upgrades are completely unnecessary. I hate the mold for that Whirl and the samurai/skull head doesn't work for that bludgeon. Now if there ends up being a new head for Voyager Bludgeon, I will gladly pay the money for the rest of the stuff.

If these are what Headrobots are going for...I think the helmet add-on would look good for the Deluxe Bludgeon. But I also like that the Deluxe version references Bludgeon's inner robot, instead of his Pretender shell.
