The only similarity i see between the Elise and the Stingray is that they are 2 low down 2 seater vehicles....

It was rumored, but it looks like that's all it was.
I almost wonder if that was born of a misunderstanding from someone seeing Sideswipe early on and passing on the vague info that one of the main cars was going to be a convertible, and people just assumed it would be Bumblebee.

 

TFW~: Stop saying BB is a convertable! Its clear that he isnt as the car in this video has a hard top, and i havent seen one single picture yet which suggests he's a convertable, unless he has a hard folding roof like those mercedes do.

 

WHY THE HELL do people keep thinking the red Ferrari 's RODIMUS? if anything its going to be HOT ROD! RODIMUS is the evolution of HOT ROD after he gets the matrix jeez its like the old movie didnt even exist!

Last I knew, though, Mattel had exclusive Ferrari rights as well - at least they did when I worked at TRU, as there were no other Ferrari branded die-cast during that time frame other than ones grandfathered in from before the deal. If that is still the case, then we trade one for another in the 3rd film.
