That was my reaction. I'd love a set of those Bludgeon heads for the voyager class figure.

 

any pics of the toysrus set which the heads go with? theres so many toysrus exclusives. i have no idea what it is.

 

If that is the case even though I don't own the TRU 2-Pack set it would be so bought, just to get the Voyager Bludgeon head.

Actually these are more than likely long gone from TRU stores... bad news for those that want them just for this set. If the FanProjects effect happens with these figures in which the price goes up drastically due to the increased demand.

Man, I really don't get how this is going to work for Movieverse Whirl. Universe Whirl, maybe? But that would be a really niche target market.

 

Are these really not easy to find most other places? My local TRU is still clogged with all of it's movieverse exclusives... this, the Hoist/Mixmaster two pack and the three pack with Megatron, Soundwave and The Fallen... I figured most places would be slammed with them.

I'm thinking that these new heads will slide on over the old ones as there doesn't seem to be an easy way to remove the original heads on either figure from what I can tell.

I'd much rather see this Whirl head converted for use with the upcoming Tomahawk.

 

Are you talking the crappy legend fig or rotorstorm repaint? Cos Honestly neither are worth upgrading, the blackout tooling at least has stand articulation and the Whirl's big feet and helicopter front for a chest although being totally the wrong type of helicopter.

 

The Bludgeon head is really cool, but I don't really feel the need to pick up either of these.

 

Agreed... As soon as I saw a picture of Tomahawk I thought he would make an excellent Whirl with a new head.

I can tell you from certainty that these are not long. The TRUs near me have these set in droves. If they would start to clearance them, they might move. I love those to molds, but I personally cannot justify the price they want for them.

And I also agree about Tomahawk. If it was for him, there would be no hesitation.
