those two are ok figures, not something i'd automatically buy but i do like how WFC toys have a new style, the movie toys have gone on long enough. I dont like that cheap looking grey plastic on SW though, it always looks prototypish!

 

My CHUG shelf needed a Soundwave badly, and this fits the bill. Already have a Megatron, though...

Soundwave looks cool, but he looks fat with the exhaust pipes on his chest, without them he would be perfect

 

Actually I think they’re meant to be a battering ram of sorts.
Probably ment to homage his G1 tapedeck buttons. But yeah, they do kind of stick out a bit.

 

I may not buy the game but i definitely want all 4 figures!!!!!

 

Soundwave looks cool!!!!!!! I'll be getting both of these guys.

I've got some big plans for them!!!!

 

I hope you can Transform Soundwave into a fan mode that looks like a boombox. Maybe Takara engineered the mode into him already!

 

Doesn't Megatron just look like a worse version of the cybertronian Animated version, which everyone hated? (Is confused...).

Soundwave looks really sweet though, except for the uggo grey color.

 

Looking closely I think Soundwave is a Triple Changer.

 

Agreed. I haven't seen a single figure from the line I don't class as an absolute must-buy.

 

Can you explain why you think this?

 

Well if you look at the Gamestop commercial the speakers kinda resemble those massive chunky bits on his legs. The fact that it looks like you can get some origami style folding style up on his lower extremities and his arms it seems quite possible that you can get the boom box out of him albeit with some kibble on his backside.

 

I didn't think I'd like any of the WFC toys but 'm leaning towards picking them all up now. Soundwave looks great as does Megatron, well at least Megs bot mode is awesome.

 

Megs is nice but Soundwave is a must!

 

I don't really like Megatron's design, could have been better. I wish his design would look different, because then I would have bought him too, for displaying next to Prime. He looks like a blend between Movie and Animated Megs.

But I like Soundwave, he is really cool.

 

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like Megatron has a peg/tab on both his arms for attaching the cannon; it looks like you could attach the cannon to either arm.

 

Not really, his alt mode is slighty less ******ed and his face sculpt doesnt look like a horse. Not to mention that everything in it IS game accurate, while the TFA vehicle mode was nothing like the show version at all.
