That's much closer to what I was expecting the official product to look like. That looks much closer to the art that was shown.

As for the purple and green. There was none on the back of the originals car mode. But from pics I've seen, there was a sticker for Counter Punch's shins that had purple and green on it. So I'm guessing that's why they chose to make the back end purple with green tail lights.

 

I really, really hope they end up releasing another batch of these, especially for those who missed out first time around  

But am really diggin' his look!

I regret buying two of this guy. The beetlejuice head looks ridiculous.
Odd how they waited until the item sold out on pre-orders before showing the actual toy.

 

I really can't see whats the problem with this, it looks really good.

 

wow that head is tooooooooooo small!!!! They could of gave us a better head for the money we put out on this.

Man the custom is definitely pure win. Heres to hoping the FP one can measure up once they are officialy finished and released, because the stolen pics doesn't look very impressive.

 

Well, if regret buying two of them, you can always sell me the second one, since I missed out on the original pre-order. 

 

Seeing the custom, I want to say Jin Saotome (sp?), but I'm not a Radicon-type-person, so I don't really know. But yeah, the custom is much better.

I would almost prefer a normal-sized head that has to pop off for transformation, rather than a too-small head.

I still like it but the head should definitley be bigger. Sideswipe's head is bigger than that so it isn't really an issue of it fitting into the chest cavity. Maybe it would still look at bit small at the largest it could be that would still fit but these pictures are way smaller than necessary.

you know looking at larger pictures i can tell you what happened, some where in production the mold got squeezed head syndrome. it's the same thing that happened to marvel legend toys.

 

No, you just transform the thing.

 

Was this the head that we saw the white test shots of several months back? I thought that was the real head. It looked so good.

 

So is the head mold forever damaged or was this just a test shot to see how it would turn out? Maybe this figure was a reject from the assemble line.

Honestly, we are paying so much for this guy to being with. I would at the very least, expect them to correctly manufacture the new head.

 

Missed out on the preorder. Don't feel so bad anymore.  

The head size is mildly annoying but it's the sloppy paint that's bugging me more than anything.
