Is it just me or is the small letters and wide spacing of the word Prime a bit too similar to Metroid Prime's logo?

 

I like it. It's simple and nice. Considering Bee, and the show in general, has some clear movie influence, it's not surprisning the logo follows suit. Here's hoping it isn't too long till we see a full shot of Bee.

 

I hope it's done in adult animation. I have had enough of the deformed looking animation. You know where the head is almost as big as the entire body.

All TransFormers are like + 1 million years old sooooooooo? They are all kind'a old together. (just mess'n w/ ya!  )

But I would also like to see a younger Optimus, a bot that grows into the leader we all know. TFA Optimus was fun!

 

Well I'm being optimistic and waiting to see if Prime turns out to be a more fully rounded version of the movie-verse with maybe some nicely tweaked designs that transate more readily into toys without too much cheating or cut corners  

 

Hopefully it'll be as much movie as Animated is to G1. Takes influences from, but not remotely the same.

 

Just seems like they would have to change so much about the movie universe to make it work as a cartoon that you might as well just have something totally new considering the changes that would have to be made.

Bumblebee has to talk because a long running cartoon can't afford song royalties every time Bumblebee has something to say.

The Decepticons are going to have to be toughened up and given personalities because a show about a pile of dead Decepticons every week would get really boring really quickly and alienate the Decepticon fan base.

Devastator is going to have to lose the balls and I'm not sure if the Twins can be cleaned up enough to make them into something that would not cause a stink.

The Hub already has a GI Joe cartoon on the way so the show would have to focus on the Autobots instead of humans and the human military.

Plus you've got the problem of part of the fan base doesn't like the movie universe so part of your target market is not going to give the show a chance. There is also the problem of just how much longer will the general public go for the movie universe. If Transformers 3 isn't a better film than Revenge of the Fallen will the general public still like the movie franchise or move on to other things?

 

I need to see the designs and toys before I pass judgement. I've seen half of Bumblebee and IMO he does look cool. He look's movie-inspired minus a lot of the harsh, pointy bits. More like WFC's designs.

I can't believe some of you guys are up in arms about a friggin logo.

Respect the original logo? That's ridiculous.

Nothing has come out besides half of a Bumblebee design. We can't judge it.
