Holy crap he's badass looking. I'm okay with him turning into a jet. Beats turning into his G1 alt mode. I know he's had other alt modes, but it'd be goofy for him to be a cannon. If it was super cool, he'd have a cannon mode and another player could use him to blast other players.

Oh and has anyone realized today is the 22nd and only 2 more months until the release

he is also for the pc. dont believe everything you see/ read. i have my pc copy on pre-order, and it is hard to even find pc listings. but the bonus characters are for all platforms except the wii (they get different more friendly characters.

are you on drugs? we see him transform, so whats this one mode stuff? and we knew from the get go bonus characters were only for multiplayer. so either you live in a deep dark smelly damp cave, or your lightbulb is dim.

 

ys, they are even naming the game cybertron adventures instead of war for cybertron so it sounds less aggressive.

ummm no, basically as nintendo always does, they take a good game, remove some violence levels, rename it, ruin it. i can understand them doing it to a really violent game, but sheesh these are robots. yet they release resident evil games. it makes no sense. honestly though, i think barney the dinosaur would end up being megatrons ultimate weapon, i have children and know that creatures power.

Well, Ironhide had is glass-gass (?) gun-hand and an actual gun, and even the toy of Megatron came with a gun. I don’t have a problem with Shockwave having a gun; however, it would have been nice to see him actually use the gun-hand to show us just how much of a kick it has.

I’m going to assume his gun-hand is tied to his special ability, whatever that is, and takes a bit of time to build up a charge, preventing him from rapid fire, though it does look a bit strange (IMO) to hold to guns, but use only one.

I thought so too, considering how the lead designer keeps talking about the three platforms as though they are identical, but then we get this trailer which states Shockwave is an exclusive available only to the XBOX 360 and PS3, that’s got to make a gamer wonder whether some last minute changes happened.

 

i dont think that will happen. this is a pc game, anything on the unreal engine always gets the best version on pc. and by choosing the unreal engine it is know right off the bat it will be modded heavily. i spoke to my rep at gamestop, he assured me they have a pc pre-order listing and code card. also the same mistakes were made for mass effect 2 game content over and over

Shame they couldn't have kept him as a giant space gun, that would have been nice.

Still, fits in with the game aesthetic I guess. Nice robot mode though.

 

I believe they are pissed about him being usable only in one game mode. That is kinda ridiculous that you can only use him in one game type.

 

Shockwave being only playable in 1 mode is a huge mistake by High Moon. Along with their marketing.

Shockwave looks really cool, and the jet alt-mode isn't all that surprising. I'd love to see this design in toy-form, but at the same time I doubt it'll happen. Considering he's supposed to be the 2nd in command, it's kinda sad he's been reduced to a pre-order incentive that's only usable in one multiplayer mode. Oh well, even if I did pre-order from GameStop, I wouldn't get him (I'm going to be getting the PC version).
