Yeah, like the comic will REALLY kill a character who survived the film. If he comes back for the third movie, they'll be in the shit. He ain't dyin'.

 

Furman is way too above stuff like having Galloway as a Pretender. Not to mention that Soundwave WOULD know, and in #1 he noted how the guy is inadvertedly helping the Con cause without knowing.

From the #3 preview, I'd say the guy, while a major jerk in the league of Sentinel Prime, will do his job right and find the Nefarious project for the Bots and Cons.

I liked the introduction of more minions for Soundwave in #1, even if Rumble as a rhinoceros was a bit weird. And I like how Furman goes along to portray OP to be as bloodthirsty as he was in ROTF. You should read the UK ROTF comics, where a human hunter captures OP to take his head as a trophy, I laughed out loud on that one, and especially how OP deals with him - for a moment you think he'll cut off the guy's head for his own trophy wall...
